Curvy Keepsake Critters

Well, I've hardly stopped for the past few weeks - it's been mental!

I had even taken a few pictures but hadn't got round to adding them to the blog - not good for tempting you with goodies.

Before we get too far past Christmas I thought I had better add these that we made at our last Bloomin' Buds meeting - they are soooo cute.
Handily we did these the day my own Curvy Keepsake Die arrived.

I wasn't sure about getting it but now I've used it (and I've made a few penguins and santas for presents this year) I love it.  It's staying in the next seasonal catalogue too so I'll try some non-xmas themed ones soon.

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas.  Just having a couple of days off to rest and then I had better get sharing the new goodies that are coming.

Cup of warmth

Get saving for the new Spring catalogue everyone.  There are some great things in there and you will so want one of the punches - trust me!!!

I've had a slight dabble in pre-order purchasing but (apart from a quick punch to test the fabulousness of said punch)  am now trying to focus on sorting out this Christmas business!

Anyway, a lovely Bloomin' Buds meeting this week.  We all took a secret santa gift, this was mine:

I've made a box using the gift box board but folded the openings back on themselves.

I've used the fun flower punch and matching stamps and the petite petals set too.

I chose the 2013-2015 in colours to keep the gift away from being strictly Christmas.

Leaves were from the Flower Fair framelits set.

Inside the box sat this little cup to which I've added a decorated stirrer, hot choc sachet and marshmallows.

A great idea I saw the lovely Clare Rowlands demo on tv and you can get the instructions here on the Hobby House website.

Remember to ask for punch money for Christmas!!  hee hee.

Finally this is how my owls transformed from the previous post:

These were swaps for an event I went to this week so I will also share the swaps I got in return when I have taken a picture of them.

I had a few comments that the owl badge I made for Telford would make a good swap - so I did!

Ink: Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana
Stamps: Petite Petals, Hardwood, Six-Sided Sampler

Christmas Penguin

Many apologies again that I can't keep up with everything currently - I am all too aware my blog updates never quite make it.

Not for lack of making things though.

I'm off to a Stampin' Up event tomorrow - not that I will be able to tell you about it immediately (we're off for some sneak peeks!) but I've made a name badge:

This chap is based on the owl badge I made for Telford earlier in the year as he was so successful.  This is the Christmas version!!

I've used the set Endless Wishes with Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party.
A selection of punches too: Mini Star, Word Window, Modern Label, 1 3/8" Circle, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Owl Builder and Bird Builder!

This is a pile of owls destined for my swaps which I have now finished.  Picture to follow!

Offers this week

A great offer from Stampin' Up this week if you have fancied joining or have a big wish list (it is nearly Christmas!!!).

There is a discount on the joining fee of the usual £99 and it is reduced to just £74.25 and for this you can choose £130 worth of product from the catalogue.  This can be whatever you choose to this value - what a fab offer.

Remember, you don't have to demonstrate you can just purchase goodies for your own use and if you don't spend the minimum by the end of your first full quarter there is nothing to repay, it's all yours to keep.

A further added bonus is that if you purchase more in December (when you can pre-order from the spring catalogue and get your hands on sale-a-bration goodies) as well as the extra discount you get on your first order anyway you will receive a 5% cash back on top of all this as well.

This offer only applies until 2nd December - give me a shout if you have any questions.

New Weekly Deals are available as well today - this week included are the square punch for £10.69 (normally £14.25), the oval accent bigz die for £14.21 (normally £18.95) and the designer rosette bigz xl die is only £26.12 instead of £34.95.

All party goodies from last week were despatched tonight to eager customers - what great service SU provide as everything comes from Germany.  I've been busy making swaps for an event next week so should have plenty more to post.

Party make and take

A very successful party last week with 12 lovely ladies, most of whom had a go at this make and take.

I wanted to do something a bit different so chose an easel card and wanted to demo the fab stamp set Wondrous Wreath.  This also comes with matching framelits but I didn't want to scare everyone so we just stamped the image on circles that I had pre-cut for everyone.
(I also took some samples cut using framelits of course as they do look good!).

The base card is pear pizzazz and each card had a different piece of paper to stick on the front from the Trim the Tree DSP pack featuring the colour Garden Green.

Full recipe of goodies:
Card: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Garden Green, Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Real Red
Punches: Extra-Large Oval, Artisan Label, Ticket Duo Builder
Stamp sets: Wondrous Wreath, That's the Ticket
Filigree Frame embossing folder
Wondrous Wreath Framelits (for the bow)
Circle Framelits
Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack

That's quite a list when you write it out!  All the ladies really liked the card though and a couple of non-stampers were very impressed with their efforts.

This is a side view of the card.
Don't forget you can earn free goodies if your party sales reach £150 or more!!

Merry Christmas!

And another quick card!

For anyone that went to one of Jenny's Extravaganza days recently you may of noticed this design on the bag we were given.

The 'Merry' is from the set Seasonally Scattered and I've stamped it in Lost Lagoon on matching card.
It is cut out with an Apothecary Accent framelit.

'Christmas' is from Watercolor Winter Too and punched out with the modern label punch which must be one of my most used.

The backing paper is from the All is Calm set in the seasonal catalogue.

Snowflakes

You can't beat a clean and simple card - this card was made for a recent demo to show that simple but effective can be a great way to go.

The base card is Smoky Slate and I've used 3 stamps from the set Endless Wishes and stamped them in the colours of Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum & Smoky Slate on Whisper White card.

The sentiment is a little sneaky as it was only available to the end of October.
Finished with some gems.

This would look great in lots of different colour combos - maybe I'll try some at the weekend!

Christmas Wreath

Back from under a pile of card, paper, ink etc and here is another Christmas card.

This set is a two-step stamping set (well, kind of three step!).

It's a set called Wondrous Wreath which has 9 stamps in and comes in an optional bundle with matching framelits!!

The base stamp has all the leaves on it and I stamped it in Pool Party ink.  The second step has selected leaves on for over-stamping in a darker colour, I used Bermuda Bay.  Because the stamps are photopolymer you can see exactly where you are positioning the stamp for a great result.

There is then a stamp for the berries which I've added in Real Red.

I have cut this out with the framelits and added it with dimensionals to my card - I'll share one I haven't cut out another day.

Remember Weekly Deals are still running so keep an eye on anything on your wish list at a discount!

White Christmas

I'll try and have a break from Christmas for my next card!

Base card is pool party and I've used some stamps from the set White Christmas which is great for building up little scenes like this.

Background is inked with pool party ink and the snowman and birds have been stamped, coloured with SU markers and cut out separately.

Some dazzling details added to finish too.

Merry Christmas

Another CAS card using the set Seasonally Scattered  which has the words Merry, Love and Thanks in it in a similar style.

This is heat embossed with gold powder and layered on very vanilla, gold glimmer paper and kraft card.

Festival of Trees

This card uses another lovely set - well, they are all lovely aren't they?!

It is also great value as the photopolymer stamp set featuring 13 stamps is only £13.95 or £24.95 with the matching punch.

The set is called Festival of Trees and the colours used in this card pick up those in the All is Calm Designer Series Paper I have used in the background and are Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzazz.

Teeny Tiny Sentiments used with Bitty Banner Framelits, lost lagoon silky taffeta ribbon, silver glimmer paper punched out for star and finished with some gems.

I hope to make lots more samples using this fab set.

Christmas home

A mainly CASE'd card today.

This card features the Holiday Home stamp set.  I initially wasn't too keen (how many times have we said that?!) but I've seen lovely cards again and the little houses also make great new home cards.

You won't be surprised to know that the houses (there are 3) have matching framelits!

The stamp set has 24 stamps in which includes some sentiments and little 'bits' to add to your cards - this card includes some which are the sleigh & reindeer, tree, house lights, wreath, snowflakes and the sentiment!

I've used a couple of punched circles embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder for the 'snow'

The green card is cut out using the banner framelit.

Bright & Beautiful

There's no getting away from Christmas sneaking up on us - the shops seem to have suddenly filled up with it all!

This is a nice and easy card but effective.

I have embossed all the stamping with gold embossing powered.

Items used:
Garden Green & Very Vanilla cardstock
Bright & Beautiful stamp set (sentiment included)
Stars Framelits
Gold Metallic Baker's Twine
Pearls

Cheery flowers

As it's a sunnier day today I'll save a Christmas card for another day!

This card is made on a base of Crumb Cake with a Very Vanilla layer embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.

The stamp set is Flower Patch which is a fab photopolymer set which comes with matching framelits.

Sentiment from Label Love set and punched out with Artisan Label punch.
Some Hello Honey stitched satin ribbon and a touch of linen thread to finish.

Ink colours used:
Pumpkin Pie
Hello Honey
Wisteria Wonder
Elegant Eggplant
Pear Pizzazz
Mossy Meadow

Only another day left to stock up on card, ink & a few stamp sets at great prices!!

Stamp, Stock & Save!!!

I was meant to be adding a card today but last night was one of those evenings when everything I wanted couldn't be found but today I am distracted by Stampin' Up's latest offer!!

For a very limited time (1st to 6th October) you can save 20% on a selection of 5 stamps and 15% on your essentials of card, envelopes and stamp pads - a brilliant help in stocking up.

Ink pads are only £4.21 and mixed packs of card £5.31 - an ideal time to stock up the stash with those essentials and maybe have a treat of a stamp set from the wish list.

I'm placing an order tomorrow night (1st October) so let me know if you want to join in!

Christmas Tree

And I have returned from the other side!

This is a cased card and isn't it a great idea?

It uses the Work of Art set to form the shape of a Christmas tree which I have stamped in Mossy Meadow.

The sentiment is from the Watercolour Winter Too set and the star is punched out with the new Itty Bitty star.

I've finished the tree by adding some of the sequins from the Frosted Sequins pack in the Seasonal Catalogue and topped these with a basic jewel.

Ornamental Pine

A lovely morning at a Bloomin' Buds get-together yesterday where Jenny tempted us with another stamp set!

This set is called ornamental pine - isn't it lovely?

It comes with then sentiment on the front and a 'Christmas Wishes'.

Colours used are lost lagoon and baked brown sugar.
Stylish stripes embossing folder used for the background.

Apologies for JillsQuills keeping me away from being on top of stamping but I really will be back in a week to get you up to date.

Don't forget to keep checking those weekly deals!

Snowflakes

Sorry today's picture isn't brilliant!

This card wasn't what I had in my head when I started out either but that's how it goes.

It's just a quick & easy card using the set Endless Wishes which with 19 stamps for £13.95 is brilliant value.

As the name suggests the messages all come in 2 parts so you can mix and match and you get 3 different snowflakes too.

I've also added some Lost Lagoon taffeta ribbon & a couple of gems to finish.

Colours used:
Lost Lagoon
Pool Party
Island Indigo
Silver metallic

Feathers

A break from Christmas today but some products that are still featured in the current seasonal catalogue.

I dismissed this set at first but then thought it would be ideal for men cards and for anyone in fact when requiring something different to flowers/butterflies for a change.

I have used Naturals Ivory for this card for something different and ink colours used are:

Soft Suede
Pool Party
Lost Lagoon
Crumb Cake
Early Espresso

The stamp set is called Four Feathers and you've guessed it - comes with matching framelits!
As the name suggests this is just one of the feathers in the set so more samples to come.

The sentiment is from the Good Greetings set which is available until the end of October with a £200 individual or party spend - I love the font.

Re-inkers are featured on this weeks Weekly Deals so an ideal time to stock up to keep those ink pads going.

More Christmas!

It seems a tad wrong posting this card this morning as the weather is lovely and sunny!

Following on from my previous post this is another card using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelits but in a different, less traditional colour way.

The base card is Basic Gray and has a layer of Smoky Slate stamped with the Hardwood stamp.

Everything else is using the Wondrous Wreath set and the framelits in the following colours:
Smoky Slate
Lost Lagoon
Blackberry Bliss
Silver Glimmer Paper

Christmas Wreath

And here is the first Christmas Card!

I have very much pinched this idea from the catalogue as a starter.

This is in traditional colours and I shall do another in some other colours to show you how different it can look.

The stamp set is called Wondrous Wreath and is a 9 stamp photopolymer set.
There is a bundle available (for the excellent price of £37.25) which also includes a set of 7 dies for cutting out the wreath and bow and also has the words 'noel' and 'joy' in - a bargain!

Colours used for this card are:
Pear Pizzazz
Cherry Cobbler
Garden Green

Gold Glimmer Paper used for Noel and some gold ribbon to finish (sorry about the bow, I so can't tie these nicely!).

Thursday, 28 August 2014

It's here!

The new seasonal catalogue goes live today.  I've added a link on my sidebar and let me know if you would like a 'real' copy.

I think there are some lovely projects in it.  I shall try and tempt you with some tomorrow.

Points of note today are:
- join as a demonstrator (even if you only want to buy stuff for yourself) before the end of Friday and get £150 worth of goods for only £99.  You can just keep these goodies and spend no more, no further commitment is required.

- the big shot offer of a free bundle when you buy a big shot or 15% off a stamp/framelit combo is still going.

- new weekly deals are up including the lovely heart framelits for only £17.21 instead of £22.95 amongst other treats.

AND ...

- if you spend over £200 individually or host a party where sales reach this total before 31st October you get this stamp set for FREE!!

I think the font is scrummy and a great selection of sentiments for the stash.

You can have this for free on top of all the benefits you already get for spending £200 - what are you waiting for?!!

More Bloom with Hope

Another easy card today using the stamp from Bloom with Hope again.

This image is coloured in with pumpkin pie Blendabilities and mounted on oval framelits (some using the pricking templates).

The background layer of pumpkin pie has a leaf from the same stamp set stamped all over it and on top of a layer of burlap ribbon a sentiment from the same set.

This is punched out with Modern Label punch.

All mounted on a crushed curry card base.

Never a dull moment, I better make some Christmas samples as that catalogue launches on Thursday!

Thursday, 21 August 2014

Quick & easy

Another quick card today that I did with Jenny then shared with Crafty Bunch.

This uses the Work of Art stamp set and Tangelo Twist ink.

The stamp is inked once and stamped 5 times for the effect.

Sentiment from the same set and the flowers are from Pictogram Punches, punched out and gems added.

Matching ribbon to finish.

The new seasonal catalogue launches in a week with all the gorgeous Christmas goodies - let me know if you want a catalogue and/or a party - additional offers could be available if you book one and sell a few things!

Update & inspiration

If anyone has been tempted to join and not quite made it yet from 22nd to 29th August you can join for £99 but get £150 worth of goodies!!  Think how much lovely crafty stuff you can get for that.
You don't have to demo, or even buy any more - once yours you keep everything and there is no requirement to carry on if you just want to sign up for lots of stuff.

Also still running is the big shot bundle deal.  Buy a bigshot and get a stamp/framelit set worth £45-£50 for free.  If you only want the stamps/framelits you get 15% off the price of the bundle - this is worth a few pounds too!

Another quick sample card.  I was having a play with my Blendabilities and the gorgeous new hostess set called Bloom with Hope.

Card colours used are Smoky Slate, Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.
I've also coloured the organza ribbon with the Wisteria Wonder Blendabilities and mounted the image (cut with Deco Label Framelits) on to a Lovely Lace embossed piece of card.

Mossy Meadow Flowers

Not the greatest picture (apols for that!) but this is one of the cards that I took as an option to Crafty Bunch last week - thanks to Jenny for this idea which I slightly simplified for card & stamp usage!!

The card just uses Mossy Meadow ink, card and ribbon for simplicity - so effective though.

Stamp sets used are:
Gorgeous Grunge
Petite Petals (with matching punch)
Label Love (with matching punch)

The artisan label punch used for the sentiment is on offer this week for only £10.69 instead of £14.25 - bargain!

Some gems to finish and a very quick card - try it in all the new in colours!!

Thursday, 14 August 2014

A Blended Bloom

I finally got my hands on the gorgeous Blended Bloom stamp - ideal for colouring with the new blendabilities.

I saw a card very like this on Teri's lovely blog so had to try it for myself.

Colours used are Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow with some Daffodil Delight highlights.

Sentiment from Hey You and punched out with the Decorative Label punch.  The leaves were cut out using the Flower Fair framelits.

Even the gem got some colour from the pens too on this one and I nearly forgot to mention the background - another new embossing folder called Large Polka Dot!

Sunday, 10 August 2014

Simple silhouette

I have returned!

Today's card is with many thanks to Bloomin' Bud Maria who used this idea when we went to Telford.

I have used the 1 3/4" circle punch as a template to sponge through with Hello Honey ink and used the grass image from the new World of Dreams stamp set.

Sentiment is from the ever useful Wetlands set.

This is a little taster for any Crafty Bunch viewers too as we are having a little Stampin' Up play on Wednesday evening.

Saturday, 2 August 2014

Beautiful Bunch

This card has also used crumb cake as a base.

The gorgeous embossing folder is called Lovely Lace and the flowers are from the stamp set Beautiful Bunch - with matching punch no less!

The flowers are in the new colour Hello Honey.

The leaves were cut using the Flower Fair Framelits in Mossy Meadow and some ribbon to match is under the sentiment from the new Hey You set.

My blogging has been a little shabby recently but I am now officially having a week off but have to share some new ideas with you when I come back!!

Don't forget to keep checking the weekly deals - the fab cupcake punch is on offer this week!

Flower Patch

Today's card uses the very popular Flower Patch stamp set which has been out of stock since catalogue launch but I finally got my set!

You won't be surprised to hear it comes with a set of matching framelits - I think I will be using this set a lot.

Base card is Crumb Cake with a layer embossed with Decorative Dots embossing folder.

Some gold baker's twine added under the oval framelits - sentiment is also in the stamp set.

Ink colours used:
Hello Honey
Tangelo Twist
Pear Pizzazz
Rose Red
Lost Lagoon
Mossy Meadow

A few pearls to finish off as well!

Tuesday, 15 July 2014

Razzleberry Roses

Hooray - a card!!

This card came about with trying just to use just framelits, flower dies & sentiments for the project at last Crafty Bunch.

The colours are a little outside of my comfort zone but a combo from the SU colour cards, they are Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie (with the lovely new Mossy Meadow for leaves).

The leaves are from a new set of framelits (Flower Fair) in the catalogue but the matching stamp set has been out of stock from launch which is very disappointing!

Other goodies used:
Decorative Dots embossing folder
Ovals Collection Framelits
Occasions pricking template
Itty Bitty Banners stamp set
Bitty Banners Framelits
Spiral Flower Die
Rhinestone Basic Jewels

More weekly offers available tomorrow and hopefully some more ideas shortly from me!

New goodies

My rather big parcel came today with all the new catalogue goodies I had ordered.  I have quite a few but there is still lots on the wish list.

I went out tonight but had to have a quick play so have made a card for our downline sketch challenge.

I was trying not to go for a black silhouette and am not 100% sure about this yet!

I've used the new colours of Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey for card & ink with some DSP and satin ribbon to match.

The leaves and birds are from a lovely stamp set called World of Dreams and the sentiment (which is a lovely size) is from a set called Hey You - punched out with an oval punch of course.

For your amusement here is a video from the recent training I went to in Telford - a few of us from Jenny's team made the cut!

Give me a shout if you want any goodies or a party!!

Lovely Lace

Today's card is one I made all the components for when I went to Telford.  We weren't allowed to share at the time anyway because it had new product on it but I finally stuck it together today.

This is just a little notecard size again.  The embossed piece of sahara sand card is using a new folder called Lovely Lace - one of the items in my delivery from UPS tomorrow!!

The sentiment is also in a new set called Something to Say and punched out with the Artisan Label punch.

The ever popular Petite Petals used again and finished with a little ribbon and twine.
I will have to make time to preview some cards this week as I have to play with my goodies - it's very exciting.

New Catalogue is here!

Hooray - today is the day the new catalogue goes live.

There are some lovely new products in there - great stamp sets, the gorgeous new in-colours, new punches, the Project Life range and the launch of Blendabilities.

To start with there are only 6 colour sets (plus the skin tone set) of the Blendabilities (alcohol based pens) you can order so check with me before ordering.
Check out a video here and when I get my delivery I shall share some more samples.

For those with a catalogue the flower patch stamp set is already on back order - I'm not surprised as that was top of my list.

In case you really wished you had bought some of the Christmas goodies in the Autumn/Winter seasonal last year (the Festive Flurry Framelits for example) the carryover available here is while stocks last until 27th August.

Best I crack on with more tempting samples.

Still here (nearly!)

Another week passes, many apologies for the lack of cards I hope to remedy this shortly - extra hours at work and some bike races have put pay to being on top of things this week.

So, just passing with a few reminders:

- only a couple of days left to join Stampin' Up for £50 (remember this joining fee means you spend £50 on whatever you want in the catalogue to the value of £55).

- Weekly Deals are still going - this weeks include the gold or silver encore pad for only £6.71 amongst other things.

- If you have a new copy of the catalogue and would like to add anything to my order let me know by Monday and I'll pass on for free.  If you 'need' a few bits I'll post it directly to you (not all Blendabilities are available on 1st July so please ask if you want any).

- If you haven't got a catalogue I can supply one for £4.50 or free if you are going to host a party.

I shall be back shortly (honest) with some cards to tempt you with all the new goodies!

Many apologies for going missing there - ran out of hours in the day last week but hopefully a little more on track now.

Today's card is my last minute entry to my downline sketch challenge - I'll get another one tomorrow.

I've used the full set of in colours for this one (glad we get them for another year!).

The embossing folder used is petals-a-plenty which won't be available from 1st July!

Other products used:

Designer Series Paper
Four You stamp set
Papillon Potpourri stamp set
Bitty butterfly punch
Elegant Butterfly punch
Pearl basic jewels

Birds in Lost Lagoon!

A version today of a card I first tried the other day on my sister blog JillsQuills (that one had retired SU goodies).

At Telford training recently one of the demos made a card using framelits which I thought was so effective I had to try it.  This card uses the Deco Labels set.

The beach/water/sky in this are stamped using the new Work of Art set I've had on my sneak peek from the new catalogue.  Inks used are crumb cake, lost lagoon & soft sky (quite aptly in the main part).

The lovely birds are from the Wetlands set and you can just see the grasses from the same set peeking in at the sides.

The girls at Crafty Bunch really enjoyed having a go last week with this card.

Back tomorrow with more weekly deals and hopefully another card.

Hope anyone with a new catalogue is enjoying it?!

Work of Art teaser

This card is in fact just a 4x4" card made from the new Blackberry Bliss card - I'll try not to make everything from it but I can't promise!

The paper is also from a new mini pad and the ribbon matches the new in colour Hello Honey.

I've used a new stamp set from my sneak peek purchase called Work of Art which has 11 stamps in.  I've used 6 on this card and just for fun I've used all 5 new in colour inks!!

The sentiment is punched out with the Artisan Label punch.

So many things to add to your 1st July wish list!

Razzleberry Flowers

As promised, a card made using the new Blendabilities pens from Stampin' Up!

I've used a stamp from the Secret Garden set which has matching framelits but unfortunately it is a set that is retiring at the the of June.

I've coloured the flowers in Rich Razzleberry pens.  You get 3 pens in a set, one true colour and 2 shades of this colour to give you the shading effect.  I've used Daffodil Delight for the flower centre and Old Olive on the leaves.  I am rather taken with them - especially when everything else matches too!!

I've used the Starburst Framelits to make the card and layered with Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White.

Sentiment from Label Love, cut out with matching punch and layered on Decorative Label punch.

A teeny bit of crystal effects added to the flower centres to finish.

Sneak Peek!

My first play with some new goodies today.

This is a note card sized card (5x3.5") but I've cut the base from the new Blackberry Bliss card - how scrummy is that?!

The stamp set Work of Art contains 11 stamps, I've used 5 on the front of this card, and this can be yours from 1st July!!  This is another stamp set that I wouldn't of gone for but have seen some lovely cards so felt the need to have a go.

I've also added some of the gorgeous new stitched satin ribbon in Hello Honey.

Purely for research purposes I have also just been playing with the new Blendabilities so pop back tomorrow to see what I've done popped on a card!

New catalogues are here!

So much for an evening of getting on top of a few things - 2 boxes from Mr UPS was far too distracting.  I also now have quite a supply of brand new 2013-14 catalogues (the ones that are only current until end of June) which you can have for free if you haven't already got one or would like an un-thumbed copy to keep!  Let me know.

New catalogues (2014-15) available from me for £4.50 for local delivery/pick up.

Weekly Deals are continuing indefinitely so check out the side bar again for this weeks offers - it never ends does it?!

I have a few new goodies to play with now so hope to tempt you with those soon.

In the meantime this card is a shoebox card that Jenny did for us recently in Telford.

It uses all the lovely colours that are about to retire - don't forget to stock up on card, ink & refills - tee hee.

It also uses the stamp set Betsy's Blossoms which will also not continue in to the new catalogue.  A shame as I'd only just started to use it typically.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitter Banners and was cut out by hand but you can use the matching framelits.

Edges were also pricked using the Essentials Paper Pricking pack and tool - a really nice finishing touch.

I can't believe I have a couple of commissions to sort before playing!!!

Weekly Sketch

Jenny my upline has been giving us a sketch each week as a challenge to see what we all create, it's great to see how everyone interprets the design with different stamp sets, colours & ideas.

This is mine for this week:

The base card is crumb cake which picks up one of the colours in the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack which I've used on either side of the card.

I've added some whisper white card in the centre and cut a circle using the Circle Framelits, then edged it with the pricking tool and Essentials paper-piercing pack.

Flowers both stamped in coastal cabana - the larger from Flower Shop, smaller from Petite Petals and yes, with matching punches!

Flower centre is a real red candy dot in a brad base - so effective.

The crumb cake banner is more 3D than the picture gives it credit for and I've added an Itty Bitty Banner sentiment to this to finish.

Join Stampin' Up!

So, two things today.  The first is that for the next month you can join Stampin' Up! for just £50 which will get you £55 worth of goodies of your choice.  The normal £99 starter kit is also still available.

You also get a business pack, but if you just want to be a Stampin' Up addict you can just join to enjoy the discounts - starting with buying goodies from the new catalogue which demos can do from Friday.

A quarterly total is required to keep your status but joining mid-quarter (where we are now) you don't have to meet this until the end of September (far too easily done let me tell you).  If you don't meet the target you just keep your starter purchases and discounted goodies and owe nothing so what is there to lose?

If you are already a regular purchaser or just a fan of the brilliant products it really is worth thinking about.

Weekly Deals - more available today.
This week there are two sets of 12x12 paper for only £7.46 each instead of £9.95.
The lovely square lattice embossing folder is just £5.63.
Strawberry Slush ruffle stretch trim is only £6.19 and Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon is only £5.96 and not around for much longer - stock up now!!
Click on my sidebar to see all the options.

Any questions on the advantage of joining Stampin' Up! and how it all works please contact me using any of the details on my blog header.

My swaps

Lots going on with Stampin' Up! at the moment -
Don't forget the tempting Weekly Deals.
The Clearance Rack has some very good discounts on some Christmas goodies in particular.
I can order you a new catalogue from this Friday!
The retirement list goes live on Friday - watch this space and get those pennies ready.
Remember that over £60 this month and you can get a free photopolymer set too (although the font set has sold out).

My last post about Telford today (I think).  I finally took a picture of my swaps.

Several posts ago I showed you the card that I made 50 of with the Spiral Spins set.  It was a tad too labour intensive but I got there and in return the following 2 pics show all the goodies I got in return for my swaps.  Rather a good stash and lots of good ideas and new contacts.
