Punch Board fun

This week Jenny set us a challenge to make something with one of the punch boards from the catalogue.

I have been meaning to try one of these boxes for a while so I had a go at a diamond box.
This is made using the Gift Bag Punch Board.

I would link to the instructions I used but I wasn't quite happy with them and one of the sides needs a bit of tweaking!  If anyone has any recommendations for instructions let me know.

Having said that I am fairly pleased with the result and will have a play again.

The box is Calypso Coral card and the lid is made with paper from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.

I've finished with a bow builder punch and embellishment in Mint Macaron.

Spotty bows

A quick card with the lovely bow punch today - very pleased this is carrying on to the new catalogue.

Sadly the Word Window punch isn't.

This card uses the 2015-2017 in colours of Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush.

Sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and a quick decorative corner punch to finish off.

New palette

This is a spoiler alert post of products available from 1st June.

I was lucky to be able to purchase a few products (and get some free) when I went to Telford recently so I thought I had better use them and I've made this card for a team swap today so the girls will have a little taster too.

Across the card and paper this card uses all 5 new in-colours - any take your fancy?

I've used a little bit of a new designer series paper stack that co-ordinates with this stamp set (all the stamps are in one set) called Painter's Palette.

I've also used a new product on this which may not be as visible in this photo!

Some more sneaks before June but don't forget there are some bargains on the retiring list and many products are still available next year so I can carry on playing with some of my current stash - whilst saving up for the lovely new things too.

Still tea-riffic!

Using the same stamp and framelits set from yesterday but different items from them this is another offering:

I've picked out colours from this suite which are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo & Wisteria Wonder and used the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack.

Tea-riffic

A little notecard for today with inspiration taken from Valerie Moody's blog.

The set 'A Nice Cuppa' which the sentiment is from and the matching framelits are retiring which is a shame.

I've used a Timeless Textures stamp in Smoky Slate too and this stamp set is continuing so that is good news!

Thank you to Everything Eleanor

Another Everything Eleanor card today that Cath designed for us at our weekend away.
Sadly this set doesn't make the next catalogue but some things have to retire to make way for all the lovely new stuff.

It's another simple but effective.  This one has been done in Rich Razzleberry.

Sentiment is from Tin of Cards.

Thanks a hole punch

How cute is this little card?

It's notecard size and I've embossed the Watermelon Wonder card with the retiring Decorative Dots folder.

I've made a little tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and one of my hole punches.

The sentiment is in the Hostess set Love you sew which is rather fun.

An itty bitty flower, jewel and stitched satin ribbon to finish.

Team Gifts

When we went to Telford last week 5 of the Bloomin' Buds met up from all over the country and we exchanged gifts.

This was mine:

The box is made from the envelope punch board and I've stamped over it with Awesomely Artistic.

The colours used are Tempting Turquoise, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow.

I have also used:

Endless Birthday Wishes
Beautiful Bunch
Flower Shop
Petite Petals
Flower Fair Framelits
Punches: Petite Petals, Pansy, Fun Flower, Large Oval

Most importantly each box had a few Ferrero Rocher in them!

Going, going ...

This week Jenny gave us a challenge of producing a card using the retiring colours for this year.

I have gone one stage further and not just used retiring colours but all retiring products too! (The jewels aren't going anywhere though).

I have used:

Everything Eleanor stamp set
Petite Pairs stamp set
Itty Bitty flower punch
Large oval punch
Scallop oval punch

Some of my favourite punches which is very sad but we will get lovely things instead.

Retiring Products

The retiring list is out!
There are plenty of links flying around the internet currently.  I'll add the links below to the Stampin' Up! website which may take a bit more scrolling through but you get to see a picture of the products which generally means a bit more than just the stamp set name.

Any problems or items you wish me to try and purchase please let me know asap.

Telford Swaps

These are the cards I made for my swaps:

I changed the circle and bow colour across 4 different colour ways and made 15 of each so had 60 swaps in total.  Colours are Rose Red, Perfect Plum, Island Indigo and Cajun Craze.

We must all be mad really!

I got some super swaps in return which I'll have to look at in more detail sometime.  Thanks to everyone that swapped with me.

I now have my hands on the new catalogue as well and it is super.  I'm not just saying that either.
Lots of great new products but at the same time many of our current favourites staying with us so we can utilise them with new 'stuff' and the new colours which I'm sure you may get a sneak of soon.

New Goodies

When you read this I shall be in Telford waiting to get my hands on the new annual catalogue and playing with some new products - very exciting.

Thanks to everyone that supports me with my little sideline and I should have plenty to share in the coming weeks.

These are my swaps that I will share with you tomorrow!

Mossy Meadow Finale

And finally, the last colour about to retire is Mossy Meadow.

I've used the World of Dreams stamp set for this card and a lovely Antique Brad (and some punches of course!).

Remember all 5 colours showcased this week will go on the retiring list on Monday and will only be available while stocks last.

If you want any card, ink pads or re-inkers let me know so I can add them to my Sunday order.

Tangelo Twist Birthday

Today is the turn of Tangelo Twist and I've used the Celebrate Today stamp set.

This week is the last week of Weekly Deals, they will be replaced by less frequent but longer running offers.  The Celebrate Today stamp set is being offered for £18 instead of £24 (although you might want the matching framelits too!).

I am placing an order on Sunday if anyone wants to beat the retiring list and make sure you get your hands on items before they disappear.

Lost Lagoon is Going Places!

Today's colour is Lost Lagoon and I've used some items from the Going Places suite to make this card.

The World Traveller embossing folder forms the basis of the card and one of the Going Global stamps is punched out and layered on a piece of DSP from the matching paper stack.

Finished with some Bakers Twine and White Perfect Accents.

Retiring colours

So, this week I am going to share some projects using the 2014-2016 in colours that won't be around much longer.

Officially they retire on 31st May but the list of items retiring from this years catalogue goes live next Monday and I'm afraid once items are on that they won't hang about!
I'm putting in an order at the weekend if you want to get in there quickly while stocks are still available.

This little box is made with the Gift Box punch board in Blackberry Bliss - a colour that has already been going in and out of stock because it's so scummy!

I've topped it with the spiral flower die and a flower punch that I'm afraid is already retired - I got carried away!!

And this card is made with card, ink and paper all in Hello Honey.
I'm rather a fan of these 2 colours but I'm sure we will all grow to love the new ones too.

All the Blooms

And this is a frame that I have populated with my Botanical Blooms samples:

Also to bring my blog up to date with my Facebook posts this is a quick card I made inspired by the Stampin' Success magazine that I get as a Demonstrator:

It is made with the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper and Washi Label Punch - a great idea.
The sentiment is from the Cottage Greetings set and a lovely font.

I shall be back next with a reminder of the in-colours that are retiring very, very soon!

Subtle Botanical Blooms

Nearing the end of my tour of Botanical Blooms - this card is a little more subtle today:

I've used Crumb Cake card and embossed it with the Fluttering embossing folder, then used the Curvy Corner trio punch on each corner.

Card colours used are Mossy Meadow,  Elegant Eggplant and Very Vanilla.

I've also sneaked in a Lots of Labels framelit layer which I have pricked round the edge of too with the Updated Essentials.

Zingy Botanical Blooms

Mr Blogger wouldn't play the last couple of days so I will have a Botanical Blooms catch up with the last couple I've added to Facebook but today is one of my favourites:

This card was one of the first ones I saved on Pinterest and the link is here.  I even had to copy the colours exactly as it is so striking.

The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder set which is a super font as well.

Card colours used are:
Basic Black
Watermelon Wonder
Melon Mambo
Calypso Coral
Daffodil Delight
Pink Pirouette
Pear Pizzazz
