Party make and take

A very successful party last week with 12 lovely ladies, most of whom had a go at this make and take.

I wanted to do something a bit different so chose an easel card and wanted to demo the fab stamp set Wondrous Wreath.  This also comes with matching framelits but I didn't want to scare everyone so we just stamped the image on circles that I had pre-cut for everyone.
(I also took some samples cut using framelits of course as they do look good!).

The base card is pear pizzazz and each card had a different piece of paper to stick on the front from the Trim the Tree DSP pack featuring the colour Garden Green.

Full recipe of goodies:
Card: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Garden Green, Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Real Red
Punches: Extra-Large Oval, Artisan Label, Ticket Duo Builder
Stamp sets: Wondrous Wreath, That's the Ticket
Filigree Frame embossing folder
Wondrous Wreath Framelits (for the bow)
Circle Framelits
Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack

That's quite a list when you write it out!  All the ladies really liked the card though and a couple of non-stampers were very impressed with their efforts.

This is a side view of the card.
Don't forget you can earn free goodies if your party sales reach £150 or more!!

More grunge

Another great idea today that I had to try, this time using the set Gorgeous Grunge.

This card just uses one of the stamps but with several different ink colours, I've used 6 different 'brights'.

The sentiment is from 'That's the Ticket' and stamped in Staz on in black on whisper white card.

Punched out with matching punch (of course) and layered on a couple of black punched tickets for effect.

Still a great set and more cards to share later in the week.

Don't forget to pop past tomorrow for this weeks deals!

Crackers

A quick post today so you know I am still here.

Keep tuned this week for some Stampin' Up! news!!

These are a few little crackers I made for my recent parties to show another use for the envelope punch board - it is such a versatile tool and I have barely scratched the surface with it.

These crackers are made with the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack from the current seasonal catalogue - a bargain at £6.25 if I do say so myself.

A few score lines in one of the pieces and a few punches later and you have these - I think they are great and ideal little favours or place settings.

Don't forget to pop back this week (& get saving in the meantime)!
