Special Day

A little bit of spotlighting today on the 'Inside the Lines' DSP which is a freebie as part of Sale-a-bration.

The part of the image I have punched out is coloured with the new watercolour pencils and a blender pen.

The sentiment and 'dots' stamps are in the set Dragonfly Dreams.

Cup of warmth

Get saving for the new Spring catalogue everyone.  There are some great things in there and you will so want one of the punches - trust me!!!

I've had a slight dabble in pre-order purchasing but (apart from a quick punch to test the fabulousness of said punch)  am now trying to focus on sorting out this Christmas business!

Anyway, a lovely Bloomin' Buds meeting this week.  We all took a secret santa gift, this was mine:

I've made a box using the gift box board but folded the openings back on themselves.

I've used the fun flower punch and matching stamps and the petite petals set too.

I chose the 2013-2015 in colours to keep the gift away from being strictly Christmas.

Leaves were from the Flower Fair framelits set.

Inside the box sat this little cup to which I've added a decorated stirrer, hot choc sachet and marshmallows.

A great idea I saw the lovely Clare Rowlands demo on tv and you can get the instructions here on the Hobby House website.

Remember to ask for punch money for Christmas!!  hee hee.

Petal Parade make and take

Only one week left to get a freebie when you spend £45 and that includes the lovely stamp set used here.

Sorry again the pic isn't 100% - I am having some picture issues!

This is a card I did for make and takes at my first two Stampin' Up! parties last week.

The stamps are Petal Parade and I've used some of the current set of in-colours again - strawberry slush card/ink, coastal cabana & crisp cantaloupe.

The tag topper punch is used and layered with some whisper white which I've embossed with a new scalloped embossing folder.  Label Love stamp set sentiment which is punched out with matching punch and layered on a baked brown sugar too.

Couple of sneaky strawberry slush banners added (free punch with sale-a-bration!) and 2 little butterflies with gems.

Some organza ribbon and a spot of twine to finish!

It wasn't until I layed out all the stamps and punches I realised how many things go in to a card - it certainly gives you a flavour for all the SU products.

Good as Gold

Today's card is one from a kit that you can get free when you spend £45 until the end of March.

The 'Good as Gold' card kit contains enough for 8 cards - you get the card bases, envelopes & liners, message tags, foil tags, cord and twine.

I've seen even more made out of the kits too by cutting the base cards up and mounting them on standard card stock.

I'm something of a dots and spots fan too so love these cards!!

Pretty Banners

Sorry this picture has come up a little dark but this is a more feminine card using the Banner Blast set currently in the Sale-a-bration offer.

Colours used for this card are Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding & Summer Starfruit.

The banners are punched out using the matching punch (of course) and an itty bitty punch is used for the flower.

The heart stamp is also part of the banner set.

Sentiment from a Hostess set called Express Yourself.

The twine, also in Crisp Cantaloupe, is also in a SAB set!
