Wedding Bears

My computer had a funny 5 when I tried posting yesterday - bless it!

This little picture frame has the lovely baby bears in again in a design we were shown at OnStage:

Another really great idea and an ideal gift.

And then a little Peekaboo Peach curvy keepsake.  I've used some of the Playful Palette DSP on 2 of the sides and a flower from the Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamp set - both punched out with matching punches of course.

Curvy Dog!

A quick post to share this cute curvy keepsake to start the week.

Not only are these rather appealing but you can put a little present or treat inside them too.

This one has also used quite a few punches - let me know if you want to know about any in particular!

Valentine Treats

Not long until Valentine's Day now we are in February.

This is a lovely little treat made with the Curvy Keepsake die.

This one has 3 Lindt chocolates in which colour co-ordinate rather well!

The sentiment is from the stamp set Groovy Love and cut out with Bitty Banner Framelits.

I've also used:
Real Red card & ink
Whisper White card
Bow Builder Punch
Sweetheart Punch
Window Sheets

If you are also on Facebook, I now also have a page here if you want to keep track of me on there too - or know anyone that would.

Mini Caravan

This is something I ear-marked a while ago to make for a crafty friend (who has a caravan of course) after I saw it on Pinterest:

This is so great isn't it?

The link for it is here.

I used coastal cabana card for it like the instructions although it is now discontinued.  I still have some and thought it looked really good.

It was pretty easy actually - not as scary as it looks.
I'm pleased to report that it went down very well - I may even make some more sometime.

It uses the Curvy Keepsake die and the pictures don't show up very clearly but it has grooves on each side from the scoreboard which give a nice effect.

Other than that just some circle punches and I used the owl eye for the smallest black dots on the door handle and wheel centres.

World Cardmaking Day

Well, it has been World Cardmaking Day today and this has led to me becoming slightly distracted from some of the tasks I was meant to be doing!

Anyway, Jenny challenged us to make a black and white card by lunchtime (I'll share a better picture of this tomorrow) and then a tag or tags by 6pm.

These are the tags I made:

These ones were inspired by Pinterest again.

I've used the Festival of Trees stamp set and stamped 3 of each of the trees I've chosen, punched them, scored them in the middle and stuck them together.

I used the colours of Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo.

I then used the 'to/from' stamp in the same set and cut out using a framelit from the Curvy Keepsake set, with a plain card one to match.

Gold and silver ribbon added through a punched hole and finished with some of the Bright Sequins.

I then made 3 tags using the Snow Friends set which is so cute.

Trying to stay away from the comfort zone of Christmas red and green I used the current set of in colours in various forms of ink and card.

The Scallop Tag Topper punched was used and the images cut out using the matching framelits.

The sentiment is a lovely stamp from a hostess set which matches the Washi Label punch.

These were finished with gold cording trim.

It was fun to see what everyone came up with through the day - even if I still can't see my desk!!

Doggie gift

How cut is this doggie?

He/she is made using the Curvy Keepsake die which I have grown to love and which will be available in the new catalogue - yey!

This one is made from Soft Suede card and uses a few punches:

Bow Builder
Word Window
Sweetheart
Itty Bitty Heart
Owl Builder (eyes)
Large oval

It's only when you list the punches and add the die cost you realise how much this cost - luckily I am about to make a few for a fayre so hopefully they sell well.

The bow is punched from real red DSP.
He was just the right size for a few chocolate treats inside for a present.

Oh, and these arrived today:

Curvy Keepsake Inspiration

Well Sale-a-bration has gone, it won't be long before we are talking about the new catalogue!!

If you're up for a deal the Gift Box punch board and 3 different sets of framelits are among the deals this week - do have a peek!

For our recent weekend away each of the Buds took a show and tell - for mine I made a selection of curvy keepsake boxes.  The die is a pricey item but now I have it I love it and you can do so much with it.  I do hope it stays in the next catalogue.

There are many more things I could of done with it but I tried to use some different papers, embossing folders, punches etc to just provide some ideas.

I put them on a little cardboard cake stand to show them off so have taken some pics whilst turning this round to give you a better idea.  If you want a box shown in close up let me know.

The peacock I found on Pinterest has been a big favourite.

The feather framelits work brilliantly on it.

I tried one in acetate which is rather fun.

The purple box has a butterfly on top which will benefit from a feature another day too I think.

The dog is also proving popular and I rather like the little bunny peering out of the middle one here.

Two of the items on the top shelf in this picture are made using partial bits of the die to give more of a purse effect.

I made a few minion boxes at Christmas and they went down well.

The chick will feature again in a post too - sooo cute!

Finally another purse type container and 2 cards using part of the die to form a cup - a great idea.

Let me know if you want to know more about anything in particular used on a box.

Curvy Keepsake Critters

Well, I've hardly stopped for the past few weeks - it's been mental!

I had even taken a few pictures but hadn't got round to adding them to the blog - not good for tempting you with goodies.

Before we get too far past Christmas I thought I had better add these that we made at our last Bloomin' Buds meeting - they are soooo cute.
Handily we did these the day my own Curvy Keepsake Die arrived.

I wasn't sure about getting it but now I've used it (and I've made a few penguins and santas for presents this year) I love it.  It's staying in the next seasonal catalogue too so I'll try some non-xmas themed ones soon.

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas.  Just having a couple of days off to rest and then I had better get sharing the new goodies that are coming.
