Apologies that I have kept my Facebook page updated this week but haven't managed to keep all the balls in the air after returning from my annual quilling expedition which will be updated on my sister blog (http://jillsquills.blogspot.co.uk) in the next day or so.
I have made a card with 2 more of the owls from last time though:
The branches and baubles are also in the Cozy Critters hostess set.
I've stamped the owls in Tip Top Taupe on matching card (maybe a little dark but got to try these things!), punched them out and stamped and cut out their eyes separately with Early Espresso ink.
The scarves are Real Red and Pool Party.
The background is overstamped in Soft Sky with a stamp from the Christmas Pines set which is also where the sentiment came from.

Curvy Dog!
A quick post to share this cute curvy keepsake to start the week.
Not only are these rather appealing but you can put a little present or treat inside them too.
This one has also used quite a few punches - let me know if you want to know about any in particular!

Mini Caravan
This is something I ear-marked a while ago to make for a crafty friend (who has a caravan of course) after I saw it on Pinterest:
This is so great isn't it?
The link for it is here.
I used coastal cabana card for it like the instructions although it is now discontinued. I still have some and thought it looked really good.
It was pretty easy actually - not as scary as it looks.
I'm pleased to report that it went down very well - I may even make some more sometime.
It uses the Curvy Keepsake die and the pictures don't show up very clearly but it has grooves on each side from the scoreboard which give a nice effect.
Other than that just some circle punches and I used the owl eye for the smallest black dots on the door handle and wheel centres.

Doggie gift
How cut is this doggie?
He/she is made using the Curvy Keepsake die which I have grown to love and which will be available in the new catalogue - yey!
This one is made from Soft Suede card and uses a few punches:
Bow Builder
Word Window
Sweetheart
Itty Bitty Heart
Owl Builder (eyes)
Large oval
It's only when you list the punches and add the die cost you realise how much this cost - luckily I am about to make a few for a fayre so hopefully they sell well.
The bow is punched from real red DSP.
He was just the right size for a few chocolate treats inside for a present.
Oh, and these arrived today:

It's a two-step stamping set again so you can add elements as you go including a swing from the tree!
I have used the following for this card:
Ink - Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, Old Olive, Black Memento.
Card - Real Red, Whisper White
Punch - Owl Builder
Silver embossing powder

Finally this is how my owls transformed from the previous post:
These were swaps for an event I went to this week so I will also share the swaps I got in return when I have taken a picture of them.
I had a few comments that the owl badge I made for Telford would make a good swap - so I did!
Materials used:
Cardstock: Natural White, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
Ink: Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana
Stamps: Petite Petals, Hardwood, Six-Sided Sampler
Punches: Owl Builder, Bird Builder, 1 3/8" Circle, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Modern Label, Word Window, Petite Petals
2013-2015 DSP
Rather a lot of items when you list them like that - but so worth it!
Enjoy checking out the deals.

Christmas Penguin
Many apologies again that I can't keep up with everything currently - I am all too aware my blog updates never quite make it.
Not for lack of making things though.
I'm off to a Stampin' Up event tomorrow - not that I will be able to tell you about it immediately (we're off for some sneak peeks!) but I've made a name badge:

This chap is based on the owl badge I made for Telford earlier in the year as he was so successful. This is the Christmas version!!
I've used the set Endless Wishes with Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party.
A selection of punches too: Mini Star, Word Window, Modern Label, 1 3/8" Circle, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Owl Builder and Bird Builder!
This is a pile of owls destined for my swaps which I have now finished. Picture to follow!

Owl badge
Hello - I have returned (and am still rather exhausted).
A quick post today just to share my name badge which I made to take to the Telford Stampin' Up training day yesterday.
The badges had to be no smaller than A7 size (mine is a teensy bit bigger) and have a hole punched for the lanyard we got on registration.
The base card is naturals white and has been overlaid with some baked brown sugar with the hardwood stamp stamped in early espresso.
I've used a circle punch & scallop circle punch to make the 'hole' for the very cute owl to peer out of - so cute! His chest has a bit of in colour DSP.
I printed my name on the base card and have used the word window and modern label to make a window feature of this too.
Pistachio pudding leaves from the bird punch and some more gorgeous petite petals in crisp cantaloupe & strawberry slush - finished with pearls.
I was quite pleased with it and it's always nice when someone likes it so much they want to take a picture!
Loads more to share another day (what I am allowed to share anyway - I can't show you my lovely free gifts yet, hee hee).

Whooo's looking at you?!
Apologies again for the delay in blogging - hope you all got the petal parade set, banner punch and stamps (and any other sale-a-bration goodies you fancied!).
This is another sample card I made recently featuring the brilliant hardwood stamp which was popular at the recent parties.
The base card uses naturals ivory card and I've used some baked brown sugar stamped on with early espresso for the hardwood.
The fab owls feature a 'stomach' of paper from the sale-a-bration freebie and are peeking through a circle surrounded by a scalloped punched circle. So cute.
I do love the owl punch and will have another play with it soon.
