Subtle Botanical Blooms

Nearing the end of my tour of Botanical Blooms - this card is a little more subtle today:

I've used Crumb Cake card and embossed it with the Fluttering embossing folder, then used the Curvy Corner trio punch on each corner.

Card colours used are Mossy Meadow,  Elegant Eggplant and Very Vanilla.

I've also sneaked in a Lots of Labels framelit layer which I have pricked round the edge of too with the Updated Essentials.

More Wild About Flowers

Another thanks to Teri for this idea which again showcases the Wild About Flowers stamp set.

Colours I've used are Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant.

The background stamp is the new Watercolour Wash stamp which is a great space filler.

I've cut the image out using one of the new Lots of Labels framelits and layered it on the largest framelit which I've also pricked with the accompanying template.  The flowers are stamped out again, fussy cut and added with 3D pads for a bit of extra dimension.

The sentiment is from the Cottage Greetings set - it's a lovely font isn't it?

Don't forget I have an order going in next week if you 'need' anything.

World of Dreams

As previously mentioned we all chose a stamp set for our trip away and had to make 3 cards using it as exclusively as we could, with adding a sentiment from elsewhere if necessary.

I chose World of Dreams.  I made 3 cards and took a 'Blue Peter' box so everyone else could also make all 3.

This card uses Whisper White and Mossy Meadow.

I cut an extra panel of Mossy Meadow and cut a circle with a framelit to mount the image in, layered on a scalloped circle punch.

This card has some stitched satin ribbon to match and an Antique Brad to finish.

This card also uses a touch of Mossy Meadow but brings in Early Espresso and Pistachio Pudding.

The sentiment is also in the set.  There are 4 images and 2 sets of words in the set (the 4th image is the grass in the first card).

I've used 3 of the images and punched them out with a circle punch, layering them on a slightly bigger circle for effect.
My last card uses the Label Card thinlit for the base and uses all the colours previously used but the card base is Pistachio Pudding this time.

The white label was stamped and cut out using a frame lit also in the set and the festive pricking template used just to highlight it.

I used a Petite Pair sentiment for inside the card and the scalloped oval punch for layering.

More Bloom with Hope

Another easy card today using the stamp from Bloom with Hope again.

This image is coloured in with pumpkin pie Blendabilities and mounted on oval framelits (some using the pricking templates).

The background layer of pumpkin pie has a leaf from the same stamp set stamped all over it and on top of a layer of burlap ribbon a sentiment from the same set.

This is punched out with Modern Label punch.

All mounted on a crushed curry card base.

Never a dull moment, I better make some Christmas samples as that catalogue launches on Thursday!

Razzleberry Roses

Hooray - a card!!

This card came about with trying just to use just framelits, flower dies & sentiments for the project at last Crafty Bunch.

The colours are a little outside of my comfort zone but a combo from the SU colour cards, they are Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie (with the lovely new Mossy Meadow for leaves).

The leaves are from a new set of framelits (Flower Fair) in the catalogue but the matching stamp set has been out of stock from launch which is very disappointing!

Other goodies used:
Decorative Dots embossing folder
Ovals Collection Framelits
Occasions pricking template
Itty Bitty Banners stamp set
Bitty Banners Framelits
Spiral Flower Die
Rhinestone Basic Jewels

More weekly offers available tomorrow and hopefully some more ideas shortly from me!

New catalogues are here!

So much for an evening of getting on top of a few things - 2 boxes from Mr UPS was far too distracting.  I also now have quite a supply of brand new 2013-14 catalogues (the ones that are only current until end of June) which you can have for free if you haven't already got one or would like an un-thumbed copy to keep!  Let me know.

New catalogues (2014-15) available from me for £4.50 for local delivery/pick up.

Weekly Deals are continuing indefinitely so check out the side bar again for this weeks offers - it never ends does it?!

I have a few new goodies to play with now so hope to tempt you with those soon.

In the meantime this card is a shoebox card that Jenny did for us recently in Telford.

It uses all the lovely colours that are about to retire - don't forget to stock up on card, ink & refills - tee hee.

It also uses the stamp set Betsy's Blossoms which will also not continue in to the new catalogue.  A shame as I'd only just started to use it typically.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitter Banners and was cut out by hand but you can use the matching framelits.

Edges were also pricked using the Essentials Paper Pricking pack and tool - a really nice finishing touch.

I can't believe I have a couple of commissions to sort before playing!!!

Weekly Sketch

Jenny my upline has been giving us a sketch each week as a challenge to see what we all create, it's great to see how everyone interprets the design with different stamp sets, colours & ideas.

This is mine for this week:

The base card is crumb cake which picks up one of the colours in the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack which I've used on either side of the card.

I've added some whisper white card in the centre and cut a circle using the Circle Framelits, then edged it with the pricking tool and Essentials paper-piercing pack.

Flowers both stamped in coastal cabana - the larger from Flower Shop, smaller from Petite Petals and yes, with matching punches!

Flower centre is a real red candy dot in a brad base - so effective.

The crumb cake banner is more 3D than the picture gives it credit for and I've added an Itty Bitty Banner sentiment to this to finish.

Flower Power

Another CASE'd card today I had to try!

Colours are Whisper White and Strawberry Slush.

The background paper is from the current In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack.

A Blossom punch has been used to make an aperture and pricked round with a template from the Occasions paper piercing pack.

A stamp from Flower Shop stamped in Strawberry Slush and punched out with matching stamp sits in the middle of the blossom aperture and is finished with an In-Color Boutique Detail in Crisp Cantaloupe.

Sentiment is from a hostess set called Banner Greetings and cut out with Banner Framelits.

What a lovely sunny weekend it has been.  Two days out watching bike races in the sun and a craft day today - can't share it all yet but some fun bits and pieces to come in the next couple of weeks.

So Very Grateful

This card is another from our Bloomin' Buds shoebox morning and was Jenny's card.

The card uses all the 2012-14 in colours which I love.

Embossing folder is one from the recent sale-a-bration but it will be in the new main catalogue.

Flowers and sentiment are from 'so very grateful' in the current seasonal catalogue.  We cut the image out and coloured in with the Stampin' Write markers then 3D'd a couple of the flowers before adding pearls.

Oval framelit in coastal cabana pricked with the occasions paper piercing pack.

Sentiment punched out with modern label punch and some of the gold baker's twine from the seasonal added before mounting.
