July offers

And it's straight back to my latest Christmas card because Stampin' Up! have some offers for you this month.

The first one is that if you spend £45 this month you get a Bonus Days code for £4.50 that you can spend with Stampin' Up! during August (this applies to each multiple of £45 you spend).

The most exciting offer though is a joining offer, we all want to join again.

For your £99 joining fee you get £195 worth of Stampin' Up! goodies, how fab is that?

Firstly you get to choose £130 worth of whatever you want from the catalogue, then you get a free Carols for Christmas stamp set which is brand new and will be in the Autumn/Winter catalogue, this a card I've made from my set:

These are the stamps in the set:

There is also a co-ordinating thinlit set and you can buy this within your £130 or get it from next month.

The other pack you get free contains a pack of grid paper, a bone folder, 2 x 'D' blocks for your stamps, a pair of paper snips and a snail adhesive.

It's pretty good isn't it?  So if you need to add to your stash and want lots extra for your money this is the way to do it.
If you have any questions let me know - remember there is no obligation to do anything at all after 'joining' you can just buy your initial pack and that's you done so there is nothing to lose.

New catalogue!!

Another fun packed technology week for different reasons!

I'll start with my most recent Facebook post which is to say that the new catalogue is now LIVE!!
I'll be introducing the new In Colours over the next few days - this is the first one, Lemon Lime Twist:

I'm rather a fan of this colour anyway so it's very exciting that it is a Stampin' Up! colour.
This card also features some of the new Designer Series Paper and the Daisy Delight stamp set and matching punch.

Then I had planned to share this card made with the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set anyway but the bee has become a rather more poignant feature in the last week or so:

And finally the last Christmas card of the week with my favourite Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and matching punch:

More catch up

So, my computer still isn't entirely my friend but I think we can proceed!

Starting with another Eastern Palace suite card using some of the matching DSP and a different thinlit:

This card uses the colour combo Fresh Fig and Dapper Denim.

Then there is a little notecard using the Succulent stamp set (currently on sale and retiring):

And finally for today last weeks Christmas fox!  This was a CASE of a card I pinned a while ago made by Valerie Moody of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - it's rather effective for something different isn't it?

All in blue

Another little catch up - sorry!  Much cutting out for next weeks High Tide stamping day.

This weeks Christmas card uses the Flurry of Wishes stamp set with a hint of Pacific Point:

I also had a party this week and did some paper piecing and masking which went down well.  This is one of my samples:

This sample is in Dapper Denim.  I need to take the picture off my phone which I will come back and share as I took a snap of all 9 ladies cards and they looked great!
It went down well as the techniques were new to some of them.

The lady is from the Beautiful You stamp set and the background is from Mediterranean Moments.

More cards!

Another mini catch up.

I'll start with Christmas card of the week!  This week I've used the 'Reason for the Season' stamp set from the main catalogue and teamed it with the Oval Layering Framelits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits:

Then I did a close up on the 2 notecard options that the ladies made at the last party I did.

The little Crumb Cake cards are a great size and I've used the Avant Garden and Delicate Details SAB stamp sets:

This z-fold card uses the 'Party with Cake' and 'Cool Treats' stamp sets.

I'll be back next time with details of some new releases in the Sale-a-bration freebies!

Christmas Wishes

Still keeping it simple with Christmas card of the week!

This card shows off the 'This Christmas' DSP which is in the main catalogue.
The card base picks out the Cherry Cobbler in the design and I've added some matching enamel shapes in the corners.

The sentiment is from the co-ordinating stamp set, cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelits and finished with some gold ribbon.

SAB card

Yesterday we had our monthly Bloomin' Buds meeting and it's great to see some new team members and the team have had a few promotions this month.

This was my swap card:

I've used 3 different Sale-a-bration stamp sets - Avant Garden, Delicate Details and Designer Tee.

Inks used are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach.
I've sneaked another lovely Stitched Shapes Framelit in there too!

Birthday and Christmas Wishes!

Slightly behind with Blog posts again - I wish the app was updated to support my phone!

Anyway, this lovely card uses a Sale-a-bration set called Avant Garden.  I had actually pretty much ignored it in the brochure but now it's a favourite, so lovely to use, the sentiment is in the set too.

The border is also a SAB item called Delicate Details which has 5 borders in and is also rather handy!

And then there is Christmas card of the week which this week featured the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and punch which are still available!

Sending Love

Don't forget penguins aren't just for Christmas!

This cute little chap has been layered up on the Layering Oval Framelits and Stitched Shape Framelits (which will hopefully be re-appearing shortly).

I've used a sentiment from the Sealed With Love stamp set and the new Falling Petals embossing folder.

Sometimes ...

This card was one of my Telford samples and uses the Rich Razzleberry Ombre Stampin' Pad I was given (the ink goes from dark to light across the ink pad).

The hearts are from the new hostess set Iconic Occasions (another set I made samples from).

The sentiment is from the stamp set Layering Love which I have also used with the ombre ink pad.
This is layered on the Layering Ovals Framelits in Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum.

The card is finished with some dots and hearts, also in Sweet Sugarplum, from the In Colour Enamel Shapes.

Father Christmas

You can't beat a nice traditional image sometimes and this set is called Father Christmas.

The set has 6 stamps and I've used 3 of them on this card, the Santa himself I cut out with an Oval Layering Framelit.

I've used Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake card.

Another Beary Christmas

How cute is the bear today?

I've used Crumb Cake and Tip Top Taupe for the bear and Mint Macaron and Emerald Envy for all the other layers and embellishments.

Most excitingly I used my new Stitched Framelits to cut the bear out, a great effect.  The holly punch also cuts out the bow in the Baby Bear set.

The leaves are from Holly Berry Happiness and a little enamel dot for the berry, the sentiment is from Cookie Cutter Christmas.

I've also used Circle and Oval Layering Framelits for the layering - it's not until I list everything on here I realise how many things I've used!!  Maybe a challenge for another day will be to use less.

Sharing Creativity

We also did a team card swap for Telford and this was mine:

I've used the stamp sets Gorgeous Grunge, Petite Petals and Better than E-mail with the colours of Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum.

I've used an Oval Layering Framelit to cut out the wording, a Decorative Label punch and some matching ribbon to finish.

Simple Anniversary

A simple but effective non-Christmas card today!

I've used a piece of the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack which really is one of those packs you feel like keeping for 'best' as its all so lovely.

The sentiment is from Timeless Love and cut out with a couple of the Layering Oval Framelits.

An Enamel Shape and some White Perfect Accents to finish.

I'll have lots more actual samples after the weekend as I'm currently filling all my spare time making goodies for the Stampin' Up! On Stage on Saturday where we get to see the new Spring Catalogue and play with some new goodies.

More Cozy Critters

Apologies that I have kept my Facebook page updated this week but haven't managed to keep all the balls in the air after returning from my annual quilling expedition which will be updated on my sister blog (http://jillsquills.blogspot.co.uk) in the next day or so.

I have made a card with 2 more of the owls from last time though:

The branches and baubles are also in the Cozy Critters hostess set.

I've stamped the owls in Tip Top Taupe on matching card (maybe a little dark but got to try these things!), punched them out and stamped and cut out their eyes separately with Early Espresso ink.
The scarves are Real Red and Pool Party.

The background is overstamped in Soft Sky with a stamp from the Christmas Pines set which is also where the sentiment came from.

Let's Celebrate

As there has been a lot of celebrating for exam results recently I thought I'd try a card to suit the occasion!  (apologies it isn't the best picture).

I've used a colour combo of Silver, Sweet Sugarplum and Soft Sky - partly to go with the sneak peek sequins and ribbon that are in the new catalogue!

I've also used Star Framelits and a sentiment from Confetti Celebration cut out with the Oval Layering Framelits.

New catalogue goes live on 1st September.

Enjoy the little things

This picture uses another design from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper stack:

I've stamped some of the leaves from Butterfly Basics on to the paper and also used the following in this frame:

Delightful Dijon & Old Olive card
Sunshine Wishes thinlits
Butterfly Basics stamp set
Bitty Butterfly punch
Layering Love stamp set
Layering Ovals framelits
Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Flamingo Flowers

Still playing with different ways to use the Thoughtful Branches bundle and I came across a post at thecardladies which gives another fab use for it, thank you ladies.

I've used the same colours of Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Emerald Envy.

I've used the Petal Burst embossing folder for the background and all stamps are in the set.
Sentiment cut out with an Oval Layering Framelit and finished with some ruched ribbon.

I'll be popping another order in Thursday this week if anyone 'needs' to spend their £4.50 voucher from last month

Detailed Floral Gift

Several customers have recently purchased the Detailed Floral Thinlits so I said I would try a few more different things with them.

Another Pinterest project I saw here was this one:

It's like a little basket, another great little gift or thank you item.  I've made this one in Wisteria Wonder.

Sentiment from Thankful Thoughts and cut out with Oval Layering Framelits and finished with a spot of silver ribbon.

Stampin' Up! have been releasing a few images this week for Demonstrators of what is to come in the next seasonal catalogue too (on sale from beginning September) there are some more super things coming!

Apple Tree

I wasn't going to do another sneak peak yet - but I've changed my mind!!

Bearing in mind yesterdays hydrangea head - today it is a tree!

Isn't it super?  I'm a great fan already.
The apples are also in the set, as is the thank you and the dots in the background are also a stamp related to another tree in the set.

Anyway, you have a couple more weeks to save those pennies if you fancy it.

Jill
