Last chance!

I wasn't going to mention the Thoughtful Branches bundle again - but I am going to because Stampin' Up! have said they WILL NOT be bringing back this bundle in any future publications.
We had a glimmer of hope they might so they have now said although it was available until 31st August it will be until all current stocks have gone.

So, if you weren't quite sure or don't think you can live without it's versatility let me know!!

I also have an order going in on 1st September for any orders to include new Christmas goodies if you have seen a catalogue.

The dies and stamps together cost £46.75 but can be bought separately if required.

Let's Celebrate

As there has been a lot of celebrating for exam results recently I thought I'd try a card to suit the occasion!  (apologies it isn't the best picture).

I've used a colour combo of Silver, Sweet Sugarplum and Soft Sky - partly to go with the sneak peek sequins and ribbon that are in the new catalogue!

I've also used Star Framelits and a sentiment from Confetti Celebration cut out with the Oval Layering Framelits.

New catalogue goes live on 1st September.

Hope

One more quick card with the Serene Scenery paper before I play with something else.

Another super piece this time with dandelions on:

I've just layered some of the piece (it is 6x6" square full size) on an A6 card on Delightful Dijon & Crumb Cake.

The wording is from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits and a little linen thread and some gems to finish.

Enjoy the little things

This picture uses another design from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper stack:

I've stamped some of the leaves from Butterfly Basics on to the paper and also used the following in this frame:

Delightful Dijon & Old Olive card
Sunshine Wishes thinlits
Butterfly Basics stamp set
Bitty Butterfly punch
Layering Love stamp set
Layering Ovals framelits
Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Simple Kindness

A very quick and simple card today but it's proving to be quite popular as it's very effective.

I've used a piece of paper from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper pack and simply stamped a sentiment from Kinda Eclectic and the birds from the Wetlands stamp set.

Layered on Island Indigo and Pool Party to pick up the colours in the paper.

Pop of Pink Birthday

A final Thoughtful Branches offering for the week:

I've tried something different using the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper as a background.

The colours are Black and Melon Mambo to ring the changes a little.

The banner is from Birthday Banners and the sentiment from Number of Years - cut out with a framelit of course.

Lots of Labels framelits used for the mounting and finished with gems.

CASE-ing projects

This card was a 'must-try' when I saw it the first time and was made by Kylie Bertucci who is a very talented Stampin' Up! demonstrator and a Design Team Member on the Global Design Project.

It also uses the Thoughtful Branches bundle (again).

The link is below to Kylie's blog post on how it was made, I love it!

Last call as well for my next order that is going in on Friday.

A lovely tree!

Another card from our Buds day last week was this from Jane which I also think is super:

It uses the set Lovely as a Tree which is an old Stampin' Up! favourite.

One of the stamps has been used in 3 different colours to create what looks like backing paper - so effective.

Stampin' Write Markers were used to colour the tree.

More Thoughtful Branches

I got a super 3D gift swap last week for my little chocolate box and I've used the same colours that Alison used for the picture frame I received for this birthday card:

Using the Thoughtful Branches again this card uses the colours Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Sweet Sugarplum, Old Olive & Soft Sky.

I am still loving this set and it is still currently only available until the end of August.

I have an order going in this week if you can't live without it!

A Little Kindness

One of the cards we made at our Bloomin' Buds day was this one from Cathy:

It uses DSP from the Blooms and Bliss set - a different sheet to the one I used to decorate the gift box in my last post.

The sentiment is from Kinda Eclectic and the lovely Mint Macaron butterfly is from the Butterflies Thinlits.

3D Gift Box

We had a super Bloomin' Buds day today - 8 of us all took a card for the other team members to make (more on that to come) and a 3D gift to swap.

This is the swap I made after following instructions on Pinterest from 'From my Craft Room' here.

I used Sweet Sugarplum card for the base and some paper from the Blooms and Bliss DSP pack which picks this colour up.

I've also used some Rich Razzleberry layers and a touch of Old Olive for the leaves.

I've decorate the outside using the stamp set Flower Patch and its matching framelits.

As you can see each drawer fits 4 Ferrero Rocher!

Baby Bear bag

We did the Crafty Hallett bag at  craft club this month which went down really well, I've made quite a few now and still love them.

The link is here if you want to make some too.

I've used Smoky Slate DSP this time and the ink combo of Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum again for Baby Bear who is mounted on a doily and a couple of Banner Framelits.

The little flowers on the handles and congrats are from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits.

Flamingo Flowers

Still playing with different ways to use the Thoughtful Branches bundle and I came across a post at thecardladies which gives another fab use for it, thank you ladies.

I've used the same colours of Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Emerald Envy.

I've used the Petal Burst embossing folder for the background and all stamps are in the set.
Sentiment cut out with an Oval Layering Framelit and finished with some ruched ribbon.

I'll be popping another order in Thursday this week if anyone 'needs' to spend their £4.50 voucher from last month

More detailed florals

Another visit to the Detailed Floral thinlits today.

This is the front of the card - I've cut a piece of A4 in half to make 2 long pieces and used the thinlits at each end so they fold over the inside of the card.

The floral sides are held together with matching Mini Striped Ribbon in Mint Macaron.

I've added a Whisper White layer inside the card and stamped it with the Floral Phrases stamp set which is designed to match the dies and a set of DSP that is also available.

Buy this set!

Apologies today I didn't have the picture I thought I had so I have a lovely Stampin' Up! official image to share instead - just in case you need a reminder!:

The stamps are £24, thinlits £28 or £46.75 for everything.

More Thoughtful Branches

Back to the 'while stocks last in August only' set Thoughtful Branches.

After doing a hydrangea card last time I've gone back to the tree version of the stamp.

I think it's so effective.  I've stamped in Old Olive on Pear Pizzazz and cut out but layered on a Soft Suede layer of the same die cut.
The trunk and branches were stamped and die cut and the birds and sentiment are also in the set.

The background is the Watercolour Wash stamp in Soft Sky.

The card is mounted on Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry and I've included a little bit of new ribbon you can buy from September.

Pink Christmas

A little bit of Christmas today but not in traditional colours.

Now I'm getting on better cutting out intricate dies I thought it was safe to play with the Delicate Ornament thinlits again.

I've used a colour combo of Old Olive, and Blushing Bride with a hint of silver.

The Embellished Ornament stamp set co-ordinate with the framelits and I've used it for the leaves and stamped ornament.

Sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments an punched with Classic Label.

New catalogue

My first batch of new catalogues are here and some will be distributed shortly ready for when it goes live on 2nd September.

If you don't think you are on my list let me know!

I've just had some lovely pre-order items from it too, the more you look through it the more you want so I better have a little play!

Thursday, 4 August 2016

Congrats

I was given a commission this week for an engagement card so I used it as an opportunity to play with the Blooms & Bliss DSP.

This is an A5 card I've made from Rich Razzleberry to pick out one of the colours from the paper.

The Congrats and hearts are from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits and also pick up colours from the paper which apart from having Rich Razzleberry are Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Blushing Bride.  They are layered on a couple of Lots of Labels framelits.

I have used 3 layers of Congrats in different colours although the picture doesn't show it brilliantly.

Finished with a little bakers twine and some pearls.

My first Christmas pre-order comes tomorrow so watch this space!

Birthday Wreath

Happy Birthday to Karen today with another of this weeks wreath cards!

This stamp set is called Circle of Spring and co-ordinates with the wreath framelits I've already used this week.  The sentiment is also in the set (of 9 stamps) and fits perfectly in the middle.

Main colours used are Watermelon Wonder, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz.

Finished with some Organza Ribbon and White Perfect Accents.

Christmas Wreath

For my next wreath this week I have used the same design as my previous post but with different colours it has been turned in to a Christmas Wreath!

Using the same stamps but the colours Old Olive, Garden Green and Real Red it gives a totally different look.

I have still used the Rose Garden stamp and thinlit but the sentiment is from the Wondrous Wreath set this time.

New bundle!

Today is the first day you can buy the Thoughtful Branches limited-time bundle.

Here is a reminder of one of the lovely things you can make with it:

I've used Sweet Sugarplum and Old Olive for this card and the Petal Burst embossing folder.

The stamp set which contains 23 stamps is £24 in photopolymer.
The matching thinlit dies (9) are £28 or you can bundle together and buy both for £46.75

Currently it is only available from today until 31st August while stocks last.  If it is popular it may return in a later catalogue but there are no guarantees!
