Last chance products coming soon

Thanks if you managed to pop past my quick Facebook Live yesterday.

This card isn’t one of my makes but a rather lovely sample from the Stampin’ Up! catalogue.

From 1st June items not carried over to the Annual Catalogue from our Spring Mini Catalogue will be available while stocks last and there are some great bargains to be had but I expect you will need to get in quickly.  This curvy stamp set will have 50% off and be £8 and the co-ordinating dies also have 50% off and will be £13.50.

If you would like the list of last chance products and any discounts let me know and I’ll email you a copy.

Saturday Facebook Live

Not enough time for crafting recently unfortunately and I’ve threatened to try a Facebook Live a few times  but not had time to prep - I still haven’t really but I’m doing it anyway today at 4pm.  It should be available to view afterwards too.

I’ll share some new products and also look at products retiring soon and bargains to be had!

Then try and make more samples for keeping everyone up to date on here!

Hippos & Hydrangeas!

An eclectic selection of cards this week.

Firstly I’m afraid the lovely Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper has (as predicted) sold out, there’ll be no more fussy cutting like I did for this notecard unless you were lucky to get some for your stash.

Then I had a play with the Hydrangea Hill Suite which has a lovely selection of colours in it - Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight and Old Olive.  These A5 cards could be suitable for lots of occasions, mine were for Mother’s Day.

In contrast I then had a bit of play with the Hippo Happiness bundle!

There are 27 stamps in this set, some two-step to give detail to the animals.  There are also 25 dies which not only cut out the animals and embellishments but also have some fab stitched layering dies.

Off to see what I can rustle up next.

Colourful butterflies

A couple more Butterfly Bouquet offerings today to brighten up a very grey day.

This card was inspired by a lovely frame that Catherine Lemonnier made.  I’ve used the butterfly die to cut the butterflies from white card then popped one from our lovely Designer Series Paper up in its place.  Layered on the black it really pops.  This card is A5 in size.  Catherine’s was in a larger black frame and was really striking.

This smaller card also uses the Butterly Bijou 6x6” paper to make a starburst.  The little butterflies are also cut from one of the pieces.
I’m also known for not being a fan of pink so I’ve teamed the paper with card, ribbon and enamel dots in Magenta Madness.

Fluttering in to Spring

So, there is always something going on with Stampin’ Up! and in building up to the new catalogue in May they have released the Butterfly Bouquet Bundle early.  The stamp set and dies will be in the catalogue but they have also released some gorgeous papers that are only available while stocks last that co-ordinate with the set.

I did a Facebook Live over on my JillStampsUp page yesterday (which I understand can be viewed if you aren’t a member) to showcase the products and will share the projects on here.

For today an 8x8” frame I made using the Natural Touch Speciality Paper for the background and the Brilliant Wings Dies to cut the lovely butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper.

The 8x8” frame also has some of our Opal Rounds in it which catch the light for a little sparkle.

These are the flyers which you can hopefully see if you ‘need’ to buy anything!

Contact me if you have any questions.  I’ll be back to share more and show case the chickens I’ve been playing with too!

Last chance

So, it’s the last day of this Sale-a-bration, it will be back for another 2 months later in the year with lots of new free products.

These are the last few cards I’ve played with.

I’ve used the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper which co-ordinates with our Strawberry Builder Pumch - I love the little flowers - and the Corner Bouquet (with Oh So Ombré paper) and Darling Donkeys stamp sets.

Berry Blessings

We are just about to start the last week of Sale-a-Bration and I’ve made a couple of cards with the Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper.

These are both free at the moment with a £45 purchase and co-ordinate with Sweet Strawberry bundle in the Spring Catalogue which contains a stamp set and punch.

The free 12x12” paper has these gorgeous berry images one side and plain patterns on the other, I’ve also used the Lovely Labels pick-a-punch and Banner Triple punch on either end of these strips.

This card shows off the reverse side of the papers.  I’ve also used the Stitched with Whimsy dies on this card, they just take the edge off a plain piece of card.

Sale-a-brate with Darling Donkeys

My lovely customer Sue asked me about the ‘splats’ in some cards she had seen so I took it upon myself to investigate and loved what I found.

This fab card is a CASE from honeybeestampinghive.com, the link to the post is here: http://www.honeybeesstampinghive.com/2020/12/darling-donkeys-so-ombre-cards-with.html

It uses the Darling Donkey stamps & Oh So Ombre papers from Sale-a-bration.

The super background that started the quest for this card is made from 2 stamps from the Painted Poppies stamp set.  Isn’t it great? So glad I have that set already 🤣

The donkey stamp set or papers are currently free with every £45 spend.

Guest Stamper Week 5

For my last week I’ve used the Stamparatus to stamp a wreath that I’ve teamed with the co-ordinating Pierced Bloom dies and some products from the Hydrangea Hill Suite (including the lovely Mercury Glass Designer Acetate which is super shiny in real life) and put in an 8x8” frame.

Stampin’ Up! also gives us inspiration each month with project examples from a featured bundle, this month it is the In Bloom Bundle which I’ve been using so I’ve followed their ideas and made another card from the catalogue which is also a great ideas book (I can share the recipes with you too if you wish to re-create the cards).

This is my last feature week but there are more projects I want to try so I’ll keep you updated.

Guest Stamper Week 4

A bit late adding these, busy with work and making my week 5 samples!

So, for this week I made a Christmas card as I wanted to take on the challenge of showing how versatile this set is.

I’ve teamed it with Snow Front to add extra seasonal features!

Then I used all the little stamps to make 2 cards, one more feminine, one with more masculine colours.  I had fun playing with the stamps and colours for these.

Finally for this week I’ve used emboss resist with our new gorgeous blending brushes.
I’ve used white embossing powder (I need to try with clear too really) and again have tried more masculine/feminine images and colours.

I hope these make you want to try the stamp set or think about some you already have and how you can use them differently.

Free products!

I’ve made this card using free products from Sale-a-Bration.

The paper is one of the designs in the Flower and Field Designer Series Paper 12 x 12” pack you can get for free at the moment with a £45 spend.

There are 2 each of 6 double-sided designs in the pack.

The sentiment is also for a free stamp set - Heal Your Heart and ideal to send to someone at the moment to cheer their day.

Guest Stamper Week 3

For week 3 I have moved on to an ‘avid stamper’, someone who has lots of products including a die-cut machine and might make some more advanced projects.

I’ve used some of the Pierced Blooms dies on these cards as they co-ordinate with the set but still want to highlight the stamp set.

I’ve made a split card, an A5 card, a DL card (showing the stamps in a different way & highlighting some of the dies) and I’ve used the Stamparatus for a sunburst style wreath.

Guest Stamper Week 2

I’m back with my second week as Guest Stamper for our Bloomin’ Buds team showcasing the In Bloom stamp set.

This week I’ve stepped the cards up a little for someone that crafts a little more and has more products.

I’ve used paper from our current Sale-a-bration offering (the In Bloom paper co-ordinates with this stamp set), ribbon, gems and a bit of cutting out.

I’ve used a different colour combo when not co-ordinating with the paper (this bright card style was CASEd from Carol Read) and tried a more ‘manly’ card to show the set doesn’t just have to make floral cards.

Capturing 2020

The struggle with blogger continues but I seem to have slightly confused it into submission today.

This is the front of an album I made my Mum for Christmas.  I used our Basic Black 6x8” Album (£9.25) which you can buy a Variety Pack of pocket pages for (£5.50).

As it happens both pages I have pictures of have 2 6x4” pockets in but there are 5 different designs which have a mixture of pages including 2x3” pockets too.

The front page uses strips of paper and ribbon from the Boho Indigo Product Medley.  We were able to form a bubble after the first lockdown so we’ve tried to get out for air in places that weren’t too busy and have been really lucky with the weather so had some super days.  In the ongoing trauma this album is a reminder of the lovely things we managed in a generally rubbish year.

We had a super trip to The Newt just before Christmas where we got really close to all the deer so they had to have a feature, I added a stamped deer from the Nature’s Beauty stamp set.

Some of the pages had more stamping on but I’ve used paper from the new Dandy Garden set to show off the butterflies from another of our days out.

New goodies

Well, my optimism has slightly disappeared as after adding a post recently Blogger now won’t upload the pictures correctly which is a tad annoying.
I’ll keep trying to get it to comply but I can tell you in the meantime that our new Spring Catalogue is now live, as is Sale-a-bration where you get a free product with every £45 spend until the end of February.
If you would like a catalogue let me know.

Welcome to 2021

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1WIS69pAHGU96QiAa-xDWztwxFxfKMint
I’ve not had much luck with computers and photos, then the mobile functionality of blogger disappeared and previous quick looks haven’t gone well but I’ve decided to have another go!
So, if this has worked welcome back and to 2021.
I’m a Guest Stamper with our Bloomin’ Buds team this month with a new stamp set (In Bloom) which will be available from 5th Jan - I’ve still got catalogues to send out and distribute so one might be on its way to you soon.
I’ve started with #simplestamping and CASE-ing a card from the catalogue to show what you can do with card, inks and a stamp set.
I’m hoping to showcase what else you could do with the set every Friday this month.
