Happy 2017

Happy New Year!

Thanks to everyone that pops past to keep an eye on me and comments on the way.

The above card uses the lovely Large Number framelits which I've combined with some Pop of Pink paper.

I've also made a little Foxy Friend calendar to see in the New Year too.

Beautiful You

New products are coming thick and fast now!

The stamps on this card are from a gorgeous new stamp set called Beautiful You.
The set contains several ladies, a couple of arty squiggles and some lovely words.

I've stamped these on a 'Lots of Labels' framelit which is layered on some Blooms and Bliss DSP from the Annual Catalogue.  I have sneaked in a bit of ribbon from the Winter Catalogue too as it went so well with the Rich Razzleberry background.

More new goodies

Another catch up with a couple of new sets available from 4th January.

This set is called Iconic Occasions and is a hostess set.  It has 22 stamps in the set and I made this to show off quite a  lot of them!

And another product suite coming your way is Cool Treats - this card uses some of the stamps and framelits.

Christmas catch up!

Yet again I got overtaken by Christmas chaos.  Not being able to update this blog from my mobile devices doesn't help either.

Anyway, we've made it to the other side (apart from my favourite George Michael which I'm really gutted about today) so a couple of pics to catch up.

This is a super bauble we made at Jenny's Christmas downline.  Apologies the light isn't brilliant but it's really difficult to get a good pic of it.

Then I've also made a set of coasters which I have coloured with Copic pens but will be doing some more with the new Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils.  This set is a Sale-a-bration one called Hey, Chick - coming your way soon!

Father Christmas

You can't beat a nice traditional image sometimes and this set is called Father Christmas.

The set has 6 stamps and I've used 3 of them on this card, the Santa himself I cut out with an Oval Layering Framelit.

I've used Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake card.

Cozy Critter Fox

This rather cute chap is from the set Cozy Critters which sadly is just a hostess set and only available while stocks last.

He fits with the Fox Builder Punch which is rather fun.

I've used the snowflakes from the Perpetual Calendar stamp set which are handy for covering a background.

Sentiment is from Cookie Cutter Christmas and the fox is mounted on some 'Lots of Labels' framelits.

Warmth and Cheer

A couple of cards using the Warmth and Cheer product suite today.

This card uses some of the 6"x6" Designer Series paper stack which has 48 double-sided sheets in and is currently only £4.50 instead of £9 until stocks run out - a bargain - let me know if you 'need' any.

I've used strips of it and cut the end with the Triple Banner Bunch and finished with some co-ordinating ribbon.

This card uses a stamp from the co-ordinating set and the lovely embossing folder.  The paper is used with the Bow Builder Punch for this card.

A 'Crafty' gift

This is the 3D gift I made for our Bloomin' Buds Secret Santa swap (it doesn't stay secret for very long!).

I've used a blackboard sign and added Large Letters in Whisper White and Melon Mambo and some funky colour flowers from the Botanical Builder Framelits.

Rather fun for something different.

Snowman

This is the card I made for all the Bloomin' Buds this week - another Pinterest find.

I've embossed a piece of Old Olive with the Softly Falling embossing folder and then the snowman is made of Swirly Scribbles thinlits, Snow Friends Scarf and Jolly Hat builder punch (the buttons are from the Cookie Cutter punch).

Finished with a bit of ribbon!

Extra cookies!

A couple of sets using Cookie Cutter Christmas today.

Firstly, an A4 card which also uses the large letter framelits.  I saw this on a post or pin from Kirsten Gill recently and have done something similar, I loved it.

Then (from another CASED'd card) using the holy embossing folder and some of the Warmth and Cheer DSP.  Another simple but effective card.

Merry Penguin

A couple of products that aren't retiring are the Snow Place stamp set and the Circle Layering Framelits.

This cute penguin, his accessories, snowflakes and sentiment are all from the the Snow Place stamp set.

He's sat on a couple of Circle Layering Framelits.  The set contains a mix of plain and scalloped edge circles, ideal for layering.

They are on offer in the year end closeout deals currently for £25.60 instead of £32 and a really handy set to have.

Sale!

Here is the list of everything in the Autumn/Winter catalogue:

Updates

Apologies I didn't realise with so much to update that I had neglected the blog a little too long!!

I'll be back with another post hopefully attaching the retiring list which goes live in the early hours.
Any items not being carried forward from the current seasonal catalogue will only be available while stocks last.  I know of a few items that will be continuing but not the complete list yet.

Stampin' Up! are also having a year closeout sale with reductions off high stock items etc so lots to update shortly.

I will just share some goodies I made for a craft fair last week using the Popcorn Box thinlits:

Each one has a little foam bath bottle in - I saw them in M&S and the colours reminded me of card colours so I couldn't walk past!

Time for presents

A little treat hides in this gift today made from a kraft bag which I've put through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit embossing folder.

It's finished with some Perfect Pine accessories!

And a quick notebook to remind you that it's last orders for the Stitched Shape Framelits!

More offers!

Hang on to your hats - lots of discounts coming your way!

From Monday 21st November there are some great offers available.
Click HERE to see the offers.

It is rather a daunting list but definitely worth a look.
Please note that the first few deals are specific to either 21st OR 28th November only as one day deals.  The other offers range from 10% up to 40% off items which are valid for the full week.

Also note that some items (as indicated) will be retiring and so are only available while stocks last.

If you have any queries or want to add to my order please let me know.

Highlights would be the Gift Bag or Gift Box punch board for just £12.60 on Monday, the Stitched with Cheer Project Kit that I had just bought is £13.05 instead of £21.75 and a few punches also have 40% off.

Last call for Stitched Framelits!

Don't forget there is still 25% of some stamp sets this month - more importantly if you have been thinking about the Stitched Shape Framelits they have been so successful that Stampin' Up! have run out - but don't panic.

Demand was so high to start with that they ordered some more which are on their way but because of the still high level of demand I will NOT be able to order them from 5pm on Monday 21st November.  Any ordered before then will be honoured but after that we aren't sure if we will be able to get any more before the official release date in June.

There are 12 dies in the set, 4 each of the circles, rectangles and squares for £27 - they really do add that extra 'something' to the shape.

If you can't wait until June let me know asap!

Events Update

Two dates for your diary today.

Firstly I will be at the Christmas Shopping Evening at Hinton St George on 25th November.
I'll have cards, gift bags & boxes, notebooks, picture frames etc to buy and also be doing a demo in case you are tempted with any Stampin' Up! goodies for a Christmas treat.

Then I will be at Yandles in Martock on Saturday 3rd December with lots of samples of their seasonal products for you to see.  If you would like to have a go I will be offering the chance to make 2 cards for £3.50 as well.

It's just a drop in so pop past if you can whether just for a look or to participate!

Another Beary Christmas

How cute is the bear today?

I've used Crumb Cake and Tip Top Taupe for the bear and Mint Macaron and Emerald Envy for all the other layers and embellishments.

Most excitingly I used my new Stitched Framelits to cut the bear out, a great effect.  The holly punch also cuts out the bow in the Baby Bear set.

The leaves are from Holly Berry Happiness and a little enamel dot for the berry, the sentiment is from Cookie Cutter Christmas.

I've also used Circle and Oval Layering Framelits for the layering - it's not until I list everything on here I realise how many things I've used!!  Maybe a challenge for another day will be to use less.

Secret Projects!

These are the 'secret' projects that I made for Stampin' Up! OnStage at Telford recently.

I'll share them individually eventually and as the new products get introduced.

I was lucky enough to get some new products to play with and have also used a few current items to highlight the new additions.

This card uses the Detailed Floral Thinlits already in the catalogue but uses a new Peekaboo Peach ombre ink pad that will be available in January.

Thanks

Lots of orders just about ready to go out (a slight lack of delivery on my part due to vehicle failure but I'll contact people shortly).

I've used the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and matching Snow Flurry punch to make these little tags.

Colours used are Mint Macaron and Emerald Envy.

Sharing Creativity

We also did a team card swap for Telford and this was mine:

I've used the stamp sets Gorgeous Grunge, Petite Petals and Better than E-mail with the colours of Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum.

I've used an Oval Layering Framelit to cut out the wording, a Decorative Label punch and some matching ribbon to finish.

Team Gifts

These are the team swaps I made for the Bloomin' Buds that went to Telford at the weekend.

They are a smaller version of something our lovely upline Jenny made earlier in the year.
I saw the little reminder pads in The Range a while ago and knew they were similar to some Stampin' Up! colours so I've covered some thick cardboard with Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride card to suit.

The stamp set used Butterfly Basics with an added Papillon Potpourri and Flower Shop (with matching punches!).

The clip has a magnet on the bike so they make a super present too.

Lots of Swaps!

These are my 100 teabag swaps!  And below you can see all the goodies I swapped them for.
I haven't properly looked through them myself yet.  When I have I'll take pictures of them in smaller groups so you can see them better too.

Aside from making swaps I have also been busy making items for the display in Telford.
I was lucky enough to be given some new (secret) products to make items with which has kept me busy.

Imagine my surprise when I realised my upline had also been doing the same but with different products!

Cucumber Crush & Early Espresso ink
Balloon Celebration & Timeless Textures stamp sets
3/4", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" Circle, Scallop Tag Topper & Classic Label Tag punches

Simple Anniversary

A simple but effective non-Christmas card today!

I've used a piece of the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack which really is one of those packs you feel like keeping for 'best' as its all so lovely.

The sentiment is from Timeless Love and cut out with a couple of the Layering Oval Framelits.

An Enamel Shape and some White Perfect Accents to finish.

I'll have lots more actual samples after the weekend as I'm currently filling all my spare time making goodies for the Stampin' Up! On Stage on Saturday where we get to see the new Spring Catalogue and play with some new goodies.

Great Deals

As promised yesterday, here is the flyer showing which stamp sets are on offer with 25% off this month.

Some great deals if any of these sets take your fancy.

These sets have been chosen as they all co-ordinate size-wise with the new stitched framelit dies which are also available to buy this month.

Let me know if you have to have any of them!

New Product

Advance notice of the first November offer you can purchase from tomorrow.

Stitched Shaped Framelits are coming in a future catalogue but we are going to be able to buy them in November to have a play with them already.

The set contains 12 dies which includes four circles, ovals and squares.

You can hopefully see in the image that they aren't for actual stitching through but give a really nice effect to the shapes for that 'little something' you sometimes need.

These sets are going to be available for £27.

Tomorrow I'll share the stamp sets that are already in the catalogue that fit just nicely in these shapes - for November they have 25% off so there are some great savings if its a set on your list.

Merry Christmouse!

Keep your eyes peeled this week for new products and some special offers!

I get to see the next seasonal catalogue next weekend which is very scary!

While we are still building up to Christmas though what about the Merry Mice set?

Some rather fun sentiments and cute mice ideal for colouring for just £15 for the clear stamp set.

Cookie Cutter Christmas

We had a good party last night hosted by Andrea with 11 ladies.

I did a make and take with the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set, matching punch and Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.

I gave the ladies the choice of which of the characters from the set to put on the card from the gingerbread man, santa, eskimo and reindeer.  The characters are mounted on a 1 3/4 punched circle which is layered on one of the Layering Circle Framelits.

The card, paper, ink and marker colours are mainly Crumb Cake and Real Red.

The sentiment is from Snow Place and the card is finished with Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.

Sweet Home Bundle

I haven't had chance to play with my new Home Sweet Home bundle yet but Stampin' Up! have some lovely samples.

There are so many different things to do with this set - the house front looks equally at 'home' on a card but they do make super little 3D items.

The stamp set has 25 photopolymer stamps, the thinlits pack contains 22 dies.  Together they are available for £48.50 as a bundle, saving 10% on the cost of buying them individually.

Hopefully I can play with my set soon.

Don't forget the 6x6" paper offer or if there is anything else you need let me know asap for the next order.

Paper share

With the offer that is on this month I am going to offer a paper share just for this week too.

The Stampin' Up! offer is buy 3 packs of the 12x12" paper in the offer and get a 4th for free.
If you don't want to spend £30 on paper I will offer a pack for £7.50 (£9 if you need it posted) of the 4 papers below.  Each pack will contain a 6x6" square from each paper in the pack so you will get 48 sheets covering all the different designs.

The packs I am putting together will contain Candy Cane Lane, Presents & Pinecones, Floral Boutique and Blooms & Bliss.

Let me know if you are interested in this or any other combination of the offer if I can help!

Foxy Birthday

Another quick break from Christmas for a Foxy Friends card.

I've used the matching paper stack and punch for this cute chappie too.
The stamps are all in the Foxy Friends set which as 29 stamps in it.

The sentiment and banner are in Thoughtful Banners (with matching punch also).

I've also used a couple of the Circle Layering Framelits and finished with some matching Calypso Coral enamel Shapes.

Christmas Stockings

What about another Christmas bundle?

This is the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and co-ordinating Christmas Stockings thinlits dies.

This card from the Stampin' Up! catalogue has also made clever use of the 'window' from the Hearth & home thinlits.

There are 19 photopolymer stamps in the set for £19 (great value) and 17 dies which are £27 on their own.  Buy both together for £41.25.

Monday, 17 October 2016

Sugarplum Florals

A card similar to one posted before but maybe a different colour way and a reminder of the lovely Detailed Floral Thinlits.

Colours used are Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry with ruched ribbon and sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set (with matching thinlits).

Sunday, 16 October 2016

Santa's Sleigh

I finally got a play with my Santa's Sleigh Bundle:

This card was based on another Pinterest card using 2 different embossing folders for the background.

All stamps and dies are from the bundle - except the red berries on the wreath for which I used the smallest circle from the owl punch!

It's a great set and something a bit different - the bundle is £41.25 for 15 photopolymer stamps and 12 thinlit dies.

Celebrate with Cake

Stamp set of the day today is 'Party with Cake' with some of the Pop of Pink DSP.

I've used Black and Melon Mambo ink and card and finished with some Metallic Enamel Shapes and a little Baker's Twine.
