Another Everything Eleanor card today that Cath designed for us at our weekend away.
Sadly this set doesn't make the next catalogue but some things have to retire to make way for all the lovely new stuff.
It's another simple but effective. This one has been done in Rich Razzleberry.
Sentiment is from Tin of Cards.

Telford Swaps
These are the cards I made for my swaps:
I changed the circle and bow colour across 4 different colour ways and made 15 of each so had 60 swaps in total. Colours are Rose Red, Perfect Plum, Island Indigo and Cajun Craze.
I now have my hands on the new catalogue as well and it is super. I'm not just saying that either.
Lots of great new products but at the same time many of our current favourites staying with us so we can utilise them with new 'stuff' and the new colours which I'm sure you may get a sneak of soon.

We must all be mad really!
I got some super swaps in return which I'll have to look at in more detail sometime. Thanks to everyone that swapped with me.

You Can Create It - July challenge
These months seems to be flying by. Now we are in August I can show you another card I made for the You Can Create It! challenge.
This is the kit we got for July:

This is the kit we got for July:
The second picture is the same kit but with the paper strips turned over so you can see the other side - surprising how much more muted the other side is and shows how many options there are with 3 little pieces of paper!
The paper is from the Cherry on Top 6x6" Designer Series Paper Stack.
The card colours are Bermuda Bay and Cucumber Crush and I don't mind saying when I first looked at it I was slightly horrified! But that is why I joined in so that I could try something different and challenge myself outside of my comfort zone which it is very easy to stay in some times.
So, this is my card:
I'm not quite sure how it came about in the end but I'm rather pleased with it and as someone has mentioned it could make a good alternative for a man card.
I've used strips of all of the paper (both sides) and edged 5 of them with the smallest notch in the Banner Triple Punch.
I've used a strip of the Cucumber Crush and embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder and topped that with 'Congrats' from the Tin of Cards stamp set and cut out with the Word Window punch.
The button has a little piece taken from the white jute ribbon tied through it and to finish I punched some Itty Bitty stars and added some white perfect accents to them for that finishing touch!
Some of the entries are on Teri's blog this month if you click HERE - why not join in too?

Wild about flowers
Hello to any new viewers I met at the weekend, it was super to come across Stampin' Up fans I hadn't met before.
I'm off to meet up with some of the Bloomin' Buds in Poole tomorrow which is always a lovely morning.
This is the card I've made for a swap this month which was another Pinterest steal:
The card base and extra layer are Crumb Cake.
The raised layer has some score lines from Simply Scored on it which I think is really effective.
I've said this before but this new stamp set is brilliant!!
It's called Wild About Flowers and is a photopolymer set with 12 stamps in. It was soooo easy and quick to use. There are 3 different 'stems' and 3 different sets of flower heads which go with a particular stem. Because you can see through the stamps it was a delight to use so the flowers sit where they should.
It was quicker to do all the prep and stamping for 9 of these than it was to stick them all together.
I've wrapped some linen thread around the card under the score lines and added a little bow. The flowers are cut out using a 1 3/8" punch.
The sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set and stamped in Early Espresso.
I hope this has tempted you - I'll try to do a card next showing off the full stems on a card.
