'Tis the Season

Christmas card of the week is brought to you by Dapper Denim and Whisper White this week.

The paper is from a new Colour Theory DSP paper stack and the stamp set and thinlits are from the Colourful Seasons Bundle which really does have lots of opportunities.

And a new product update - if you are already a Stampin' Up! fan you have probably used their dimensionals (3D pads) - you can now buy Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  You get 720 for £3.75 and I think this is a really exciting product!

Just Peachy

A little Bookmark/Tag just to show off one of the Floral Affection embossing folders.

The image is embossed on Peekaboo Peach card and I've added some Pearl Basic Jewels and In Colour Enamel Shapes to finish it off.

The corners are rounded and then it is mounted on a strip of card which has been cut with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

Some matching ruched ribbon to finish of course!

Dapper boy bear

A quick boy bear today!

I have stamped him in the same colours as the girl bear I posted previously but promise I shall be trying lots more colour combos.

This card also heavily features another new colour - Dapper Denim.

Baby Bear is here!

My first order from the new catalogue where we could have 'everything' has arrived.

Two items were top of my list, Baby Bear was one of them - it's proving to be a really popular stamp set:

It's a three-step stamp set.  On this example I have used 2 colours - crumb cake, chocolate chip stamped off and then chocolate chip for the last layer.

The 'pink' is provided by Flirty Flamingo for this card.

They are slightly hidden on the right of the card but I also added a few enamel shapes - just because I could!

Birthday pop-up

I've just treated myself to the party pop-up thinlits as they are continuing in the catalogue next year.

This card uses some of the It's my Party Designer Series Paper and a balloon from the Celebrate Today set.

The front also uses the Confetti Textured Impressions folder and some of the super matching enamel dots.

This is the DSP and pop-up inside the card.

More fun pyramids

I have made a card today but still haven't quite left the Playful Pyramid Pals behind!

I've used a Mint Macaron base and stamped on it then cut out the flat pyramids for the animals.
I used Jenny's instructions here as the basis for the sheep which I hadn't done before.  The cow has been used a few times now and the pig is based on the one in the catalogue.

Teeny Tiny sentiments used yet agin (such a fab set) and punched out with word window and layered on washi label punch.

I've sneaked in some lovely matching enamel dots too.

Party Pyramid

Another pyramid card today, this time using products from the It's My Party suite.

The Seasonal Catalogue has several suites in which make it even easier to buy products.
You can purchase a pack of card that picks up the colours in the 12x12" paper stack, there is an embossing folder, 2 stamp sets, 3  punches, washi tape, enamel dots, bakers twine and even some pop-up thinlits.

This is the front of the card:

I love the sentiment.  I've punched it out and layered it on a scallop circle punch.
The colours in this collection are fun too and include Crushed Curry, Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Sahara Sand.

I then had fun decorating the sides with the balloons and cakes which I've stamped and then punched with the co-ordinating punches.  This time you don't get a white outline around your stamped image either.

You Can Create It!

This is the latest card I made for the You Can Create It challenge.

Because I was so busy playing I nearly forgot this challenge so also forgot to take a picture of the 'before'.  If you visit Teri's blog here though you can see the kit we got, then follow the link to Monica's blog to see the other cards made this month.

I can't believe the Christmas goodies are nearly gone and we are now planning new designs with the Spring catalogue (which I receive on Tuesday!!).

Supplies used on this card are:

Smoky Slate card
Lots of Labels Framelits

Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper
Home for Christmas Enamel Dots
Smokey Slate Thick Baker's Twine
Mossy Meadow, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry and Real Red ink
