All in white

I had seen so many lovely cards and designs using the Botanical Blooms that I set about making some of them as samples - this was the first one I had to do which originated from another pin credited to stamp and create with Sabrina.

Sorry the light is a little dim but I hope you can see how effective it is - a fab idea.

It just uses many of the dies from the Botanical Blooms set on a layer of Whisper White and finished with pearls and gems.

Botanical make and take

We had a lovely downline meeting today at Jenny's and I was in charge of show and tell with a make and take option.

This is the card I took for the girls which was also the make and take at a couple of recent parties I did.

Another Pinterest idea seen here and it's gone down very well.

This will also be the start of my Botanical Blooms showcase as I've made quite a few examples in different combinations that I will share.
The two-step stamps are fab as the second stamp gives the detail of the veins.

Materials used:
Pear Pizzazz & Old Olive Ink
Memento black ink
Whisper White thick card, Basic Black card, Vellum
Botanical Blooms Framelits
Petite Pairs stamp
1 3/8" Circle Punch
1 1/4" Circle Punch

Pretty in pink

It's our Bloomin' Buds downline today and this is the card I've made for our swaps.

It was created after seeing another Pinterest post here.
As I had a stash of Rose Red card I decided to use that and some matching DSP.

The flowers are cut out with the Botanical Blooms framelits in Blushing Bride - this will amuse some of the ladies as I'm rather anti-pink but I am trying to mix my colour use a little!
The lovely leafy border is also in the framelit pack and I've used the 'scrap' leaves from some Old Olive card to add to the flowers.

A Teeny Tiny Sentiment again punched out with Word Window.

This pic shows the 10 cards I've made, one or two ladies might not make it but I can then use the cards in my stash if required:

Last orders for Sale-a-bration as well - I can't believe it's nearly over!

In the Meadow spotlight

I am currently sharing a set of 3 cards on my Facebook page that were designed by the lovely Debi at our recent away weekend.

They use the set 'In the Meadow' and at first I thought they looked complicated but really enjoyed doing them and it was good to use some techniques that I don't usually favour!

There are 8 stamps in the set, these cards use some of them.
Debi also used sponging and the aqua brush which was very relaxing and I love the cards.

They are finished with some dazzling details too for a little bit of sparkle.

More fun pyramids

I have made a card today but still haven't quite left the Playful Pyramid Pals behind!

I've used a Mint Macaron base and stamped on it then cut out the flat pyramids for the animals.
I used Jenny's instructions here as the basis for the sheep which I hadn't done before.  The cow has been used a few times now and the pig is based on the one in the catalogue.

Teeny Tiny sentiments used yet agin (such a fab set) and punched out with word window and layered on washi label punch.

I've sneaked in some lovely matching enamel dots too.

Pretty Petals cards

This is the link I promised the other day where I came across the giraffe made with the Pyramid pals set: https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/136374694944824195/https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/136374694944824195/
I did also make the fish as thought it was a great idea.

These are a couple of cards made using the Pretty Petals 6x6" Designer Series Paper Pack as it's on offer this week for £5.44 instead of £7.25.  I'm not generally a very floral person but there are some super designs in it in lovely bright colours.

Again these are cards based on ones I've seen on Pinterest - I must try thinking for myself more.

The colours in the card on the left are Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral and Soft Suede.
The card on the right includes Mint Macaron and Pacific Point which I never would of thought of putting together.  I've used some of the Botanical Blooms framelits in colours to match.

This pack provided a popular purchase at the party I did last week - not long left to get your freebie with a £45 spend.

Pretty Flowering Fields

Wow - I love this card!

The stamp set has been staring at me for so long it is nearer retiring from SAB.  It is called Flowering Fields and is one of the current freebie options.

The background paper is from a co-ordinating Designer Series Paper pack too, also available with Sale-a-bration.

I've stamped the images in Stazon and coloured with ink pads & blender pens.
A bit of white organza ribbon and some dazzling diamonds finishes it off.

The stamp set also includes a little butterfly which I was going to add but think I'll save it for next time.

Bloomin' Pyramid

I've managed to make my first non-animal pyramid!

This is another CASE from Pinterest, it's so effective.

I've used paper from the Botanical Blooms DSP and colours to match it.
The sentiment is from What I Love SAB stamp set again.

Bloomin' Daffodils

I have been trying to fit in a few cards using stamps I haven't showcased yet.

I saw this card on Pinterest which takes you to Oksana's Creative Corner and had to try it with the 'What I Love' set that is currently a freebie with Sale-a-bration.

I've used her colour suggestion of Delightful Dijon, Hello Honey and Daffodil Delight for the flowers with Old Olive for the leaves.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set (punched out of course) and I've finished with a layer of Smoky Slate and 2 little banner punches in Silver Glimmer Paper - all layered on a Daffodil Delight card.

This is a two-step stamp in photopolymer and lovely to use - I'll have to try the other colour combos.

Seasonal Scrapbook

A departure from cards and gifts today and in to scrapbooking!

This is a page I designed for our weekend away.  Again, everyone designed one so I have come away with 10 different pages which are all super.

The Project Life format was the ideal opportunity to use the large number framelits and many of us did just that.

For my page I have used:

Sheltering Tree stamp set
Perpetual Calendar stamp set
Sprinkles of Life stamp set
Tree punch (for blossoms & apples)
Lots of Labels Framelits
Washi Label Punch
Word Window Punch
Large Numbers Framelits

Main colours used are:
Blushing Bride
Cucumber Crush
Delightful Dijon
Smoky Slate

Crafty Gift Bag

For our Stampin' Up! team weekend away we also each made a 3D gift and on the last night all took a number to take one of the lovely gifts home - we had a lovely selection of goodies.
I'll share the prize I received one day soon but this is the gift I made:

I've followed instructions for the bag from the very talented Crafty Hallett again, here is the link:

http://www.craftyhallett.co.uk/hallett-bag-2016/

It was made from two pieces of 12 x 12" paper and is quite sturdy considering.  The panel on the front is actually a full front of an A6 card.

I also decorated a notebook to match and made a little box with the envelope punch board, decorated to match and filled with choccies.

I have used:
Delightful Dijon DSP
Tip Top Taupe card
Petite Petals punch
Flower Patch stamp set
Flower Fair framelits
Envelope punch board
Candy Dots brad bases
Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Oval framelits
Decorative Dots embossing folder
Delightful Dijon Dotted Lace Trim
Delightful Dijon & Tip Top Taupe ink
3/4" circle punch
