Valentine Treats

Not long until Valentine's Day now we are in February.

This is a lovely little treat made with the Curvy Keepsake die.

This one has 3 Lindt chocolates in which colour co-ordinate rather well!

The sentiment is from the stamp set Groovy Love and cut out with Bitty Banner Framelits.

I've also used:
Real Red card & ink
Whisper White card
Bow Builder Punch
Sweetheart Punch
Window Sheets

If you are also on Facebook, I now also have a page here if you want to keep track of me on there too - or know anyone that would.

Pyramid Cows!

Hee hee, this card does make me chuckle!

I made it for my lovely upline Jenny Moors as I knew she would appreciate the 'cow' element.  I love the Playful Pals stamp set with matching thinlits.  Jenny did a brilliant class that you can buy instructions for here.

I've used the face of the cows but just on one side of the pyramid so I could stick them on a card.
Hopefully you recall the frog I posted a few weeks ago - these are related and there are loads of opportunities with the set.

There are 50 stamps in the set covering all sorts of ears, eyes, tails, legs, whiskers etc - the little bow on the cow is from the set too.

I have used:
Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride & Whisper White card
Memento black ink & Mint Macaron ink
Playful Pals stamp set
Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Pyramid Pals Thinlits
Word Window & Washi Label Punches

I'm still working on more of the 3D versions of these so watch this space!

Going Places

Following on from yesterday's retail recommendation (hee hee) today's card is one that we made at one of the Product Spotlights in Brussels.

This was a great opportunity to not only try the sets but then have a sample instantly before you had bought the whole catalogue!

This suite has co-ordinating stamps, card stock, embossing folder and Designer Series Paper Stack.
It's brilliant for men's cards for something different.

I have used:
Basic Black & Sahara Sand card
Early Espresso & Sahara Sand ink
Going Global stamp set
Going Places DSP
2" Circle Punch

Tea-riffic

The current catalogues have some great samples in so this card is a CASE of one of them.

I think the sentiment is great and I can see me using it a lot.

Items used for this card were:
Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Crushed Curry & Whisper White card
Basic Gray ink
Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack
Bermuda Bay 1/8" Stitched Ribbon
Have a Cuppa Embellishments
Cups & Kettle Framelit Dies
A Nice Cuppa stamp set
Updated Essentials template and Paper-Piercing tool

The stamp set and framelits come in a bundle for £34.75 - I'll preview some more of the framelits another time as there are 12 dies so there is lots to do with them.

Bunny Basket

The Berry Basket being on offer this week reminded me I hadn't used it for a while.

Thanks for the great idea Andrea.

Extra-large oval punch
Itty Bitty Heart Punch

Wildflower Butterfly

This card is one that you really need to see in real life to appreciate the paper.

I've used Thick Whisper White for the base card and added a layer of the Wildflower Fields DSP that is currently a free Sale-a-bration item.

The paper is definitely one of those scrummy sets that it is a shame to use - but I am trying.

I have also used:

Stamps - Happy Birthday, Everyone (hostess set), Watercolour Wings
Butterflies Thinlits
Blackberry Bliss ink
Pearl Basic Jewels

It's another simple but effective one.

Don't forget you can see it for real and get the paper by having a party or making a £45 order until the end of March :-)

'Berry' good Weekly Deals

Wow - the Berry Basket Bigz die is on offer this week for £26.25 rather than £35.

This is a great die for making to put that little gift in to make it more of a present.

This is an older picture of one I made with a matching card after one of my lovely upline Jenny's Extravaganzas.

Sorry it might feature something that isn't available any more - but focus on the basket!

You could treat yourself to the basket, the gorgeous bow punch and a pack of card for £48.75 which means you are then eligible for a sale-a-bration freebie too.

I can add to one of my orders or for over £45 will get sent to you directly for free.

Weekly Deals are only available until Tuesday pm though so the basket will be £35 again by next Wednesday.

Happy New Stamping Year

I have returned from my rather extended Christmas break and am raring to get going again.

As my previous post mentioned the new seasonal catalogue is now live and it's a great time of year to purchase a little treat as until the end of March for EVERY £45 spend you get a freebie from a great choice.  Fingers crossed a link to the Sale-a-bration brochure is now on my side bar.

If you are in need of a bigger treat you can also join Stampin' Up! during this period by purchasing £160 worth of product for ONLY £99 - wow!
You don't have to be a 'demonstrator' when you've joined, you can just buy goodies for yourself.  In fact once you have bought your initial bundle you never have to buy anything again if you don't want to - there is nothing to lose, everything is yours to keep.

If you might be tempted feel free to ask me about it or just go for it and join HERE.

A few products in the Sale-a-bration catalogue are only available until 15th February so if they are on your list don't miss out.  After this date there will be some new choices available to add to the rest of the brochure so keep watching.

One of the sets only available for another month is 'Sky is the limit':

I think it's rather nice and ideal for those 'men' cards we all struggle with.

This was a quick and easy card using the sentiment, clouds and plane from the set and adding them to a card which I had embossed with the World Traveller embossing folder from the seasonal catalogue and finishing with some black baker's twine.

Back soon!

NEW catalogue is live

The new Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue is now live, very exciting.

The link on my side bar has (hopefully) updated to take you to it and all the new lovely goodies.

Please note the Love Blossoms DSP  on page 17 is 6x6" and not 12x12" as stated.

To make the next 3 months even more exciting Sale-a-Bration is now live too.
For every £45 you spend you can choose a free product from a choice in the brochure here.

I shall return to blogging in another week or so with some tempting samples for you.

Happy browsing.

Ribbit ... coming soon

How super is this little chap?

This is made from a new stamp set coming very, very soon in the NEW seasonal catalogue.

The stamp set has 50 stamps in it ranging from eyes to trunks, tails, legs and ears and you've guessed it there are matching framelits too.

I've been challenged to make many more options with this set so watch this space.
Hope he's made you smile in the meantime.
