There are quite a few cards around with kites on using the Swirly Bird set (see how versatile it is!) and I used this post on Pinterest for today's card - https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/499336677417086054/.
The squares are cut with Layering Framelits from the Serene Scenery 6x6" DSP and the clouds are stamped in Island Indigo with the Sprinkles of Life set and punched out with the tree punch.
Sentiment is from Perfectly Wrapped and the Kite is stamped (two-step stamping) in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush and cut out, the tail added to the card afterwards.

Oh, Mickey
Last day today to 'join' and get £130 worth of goodies for £99 PLUS 2 extra free stamp sets that could add another £92 to your haul!
Following on from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits on my last post today I've stuck with quick and easy and used the Swirly Bird stamps that go with the thinlits.
There are some super variations of the Mickey card doing the round on the internet.
I've backed the card with some DSP and used Thoughtful Banners and the matching punch again with some bakers twine to finish off!

Swirly Seas
Similar to my previous 'swirly' post but with a few different elements:
This time the background is a piece of paper from a new 6" x 6" stack called Serene Scenery.
This piece was ideal for these boats.
I've used the stamp set Swirly Bird for the sun and boats and the matching Swirly Scribbles thinlits for the sea but hopefully you can see I have cut it out using 3 different colours (which are also in the paper) and inlaid the gaps with the different pieces. So much to be done with this die and this is just one in the set!
Colours used in the sea are Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party.

Swirly seas
A completely different take on the Swirly Bird stamp set and matching Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.
There is so much that can be done with this set.
I've used the large swirl thinlit for the sea with some sponging behind.
The boat is made up of 4 stamps from the set, the sun is from Kinda Eclectic and the clouds from Sprinkles of Life.
I've then sneaked in a banner from the the Thoughtful Banners set (with matching punch!).

Catch Up
Apologies Mr Blogger wouldn't let me update this in the week so I'll add a couple of pics today.
The first one being the card to go with the bag that I added in my last post:
The first one being the card to go with the bag that I added in my last post:
This card was made using the papers to co-ordinate with the bag and the ever useful Number of Years stamp and framelits set.
For something new today I've had a teeny play with a new set coming called Swirly Bird with matching Swirly Scribbles thinlits.
This is a cute little gift bag for a 'little something':
I've used Tip Top Taupe, Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo for colours and another sneaky new set called Thoughtful Banners (which of course comes with a matching punch!).
