Yeovil Creatives Exhibition

If you are Facebook savvy please follow me at https://www.facebook.com/JillStampsUp/.

I have a new project, product or event news every day.

Apologies I still have issues with blog updating and haven't had time to get on top of it because I am busy crafting - I will one day.

What I can share this week is that I have 2 pieces of work in the Yeovil Creatives Exhibition at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil from 18th June to 26th July.

One piece is a paper craft project using Stampin' Up products, the other is a quilled piece.
There is some super work by 15 of us so please do visit sometime if you can.

My separate quilling blog also hasn't been updated for a while but I am still doing talks, workshops and demos when asked so do visit this too for examples of what I have done in the past: http://jillsquills.blogspot.com.

If you do visit the exhibition see if you can guess how many quilled shapes are in my piece?

Thanks for popping by.

Get your favourites before it's too late!

It's that time of year when I've seen the new Stampin' Up! catalogue (very exciting) and the retiring lists come out so if there is anything you've been thinking about now is the time!

Some sets are staying but if they are currently a bundle they won't be in the new catalogue so it is worth buying them now to save some pennies.

Of the 5 in colours that will be going this year Flirty Flamingo is being kept in a colour refresh, the rest are still retiring.

The colour refresh means that 13 colours will be leaving us (along with Archival Black & Basic Gray). The ink pads have also been redesigned so they are much easier to open and now stack, the ink formula has also been improved so it is worth getting some re-inker if you have some current favourites.
Colours going are Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi & Wisteria Wonder.

With colours going if you have a favourite ink pad you want a re-inker for or can't live without another pack of card in your favourite colour don't leave it because they really are only available while stocks last.

These are of course being replaced my some super new and returning colours.
Lots to take in but any questions or to place an order let me know.

Rather late notice on here but I am running my first Coffee and Card event this Saturday 24th March at Westlands Yeovil (BA20 2DD).

Cost is £5 including a drink and all materials to make a card using the Party Panda stamp set.
I will also have some additional inspiration.

Westlands will also be serving sandwiches, paninis and cakes if you want to add that to your visit.

I'll be in the Lounge Bar Conservatory if you want to pop by between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
If you can't make this date more will be announced shortly.

Craft Day Event

I'm still not fully computerised but it appears I have a post - hurray!

Just in time to tell you about an event I am arranging.
I will be hosting a Craft Day on Saturday 28th April from 9.30am to 3.30pm.  All the projects and cards will be made using the very versatile stamp set 'Painted Harvest' from Stampin' Up!

The cost of £45 gets you the stamp set, a set of 4 Stampin' Spot ink pads, all card, material and embellishments to make all the cards & projects, project instructions to keep and lots of samples to browse for inspiration and tea, coffee and biscuits!

You need to bring a packed lunch, acrylic blocks and basic crafting kit (full details can be provided on booking) and some pennies for a raffle of Stampin' Up! goodies.

These are a few samples using the set:

The venue for this event is Stoke Sub Hamdon Memorial Hall, West Street, Stoke Sub Hamdon, Somerset TA14 6PZ.

I will also be offering a discount on co-ordinating punches I am using on the day and 10% discount on orders taken on the day.

Booking is essential with full payment by 14th March.
Contact me for any questions, further details or to book!
